However to be ignorant and not recognize the massive internal tech changes between the 6 and the 8, means I just can't respect this guy in any way. He can continue to hate on the consistency of the design, while new owners of the 8/8+ enjoy arguably the best phone on the planet. Shrug

I understand your point but I don't think it's totally fair. The 5-series was different from the 4-series, which was different from the 3-series. The 6,7, and 8-series are the same. We Apple users get our joy where we can when it comes to external changes with the iPhone. The springboard is little changed from 2007, so some (including myself) get a little pleasure from the new design every few years. After all, even Steve Jobs pitched that part of Apple's success was their understanding of the intersection of science and art. Apple, with the continued reliance of the same design for 4 series, has IMHO, been neglecting the art portion of their product.

I also agree with his point on the chargers. I am more than willing to pay a premium to use an iPhone, no need to rub it in my face by providing the bare minimum in charging capability and then charging me an over-inflated price for a charger that should have been included in the first place.

This was hilarious. Yes, he is not technically going into everything in detail, but I think if you imagine your watching a stand up comedian, it is good humor! Dumb stuff can be funny too. I don't usually like dumb stuff, but this was very funny!

These YouTubers. Sigh. Even one I was starting to like over the past year took a cheap shot at the iPhone 8/8Plus. I mean the whole video was a cheap shot, it wasn't a snarky comment here and there. I was really disappointed in him. He dismissed the phone without even opening the damned box. Of course he was rewarded for his cleverness by all the haters who smell blood in the water over Apple's 2017 releases.
