Well if you want a quick rough idea of how people feel about FW or the lack there of the poll simplifies it much more than 2700+ subjective posts about it.
But, if people actually wanted an estimate of people, they wouldn't have put the Ninja option on the poll.
Seriously, I care. I need the form factor of the 13" and FW. I would like to upgrade to the new Macbook with better video but I dont want to give up my FW port and a 15" form factor is out of the question. So, until Apple makes another Mac Pro notebook in the 13" size again, I am stuck. Seriously.
Firewire isn't an issue for me - I don't have anything that requires it. I did have one Firewire iPod cable, but it wasn't useful anymore anyway and I had gotten rid of it.
