Yep. Noticed it years ago with my first Samsung phone, that's why I didn't want apple to move it. I've got 2 hands. One to hold the phone and one to use for the power button
I am apt to do the opposite. I want to raise or lower the volume and turn off the phone.

That's what I keep doing. Very annoying.
I don't get why people are accidentally pressing the LEFT side when we're used to pressing on the RIGHT side on the top. The new placement is still on the right side.
We're not trying to press the wrong side, we're using the opposite side as leverage. I hold both sides, so it actually presses the button, rather than moving the phone.
Doing it all the time. Actually I wished they lowered it to the middle of the phone. Matter of getting used to it but even after three days its a hassle.
Yeah, this was a poor decision that made sense in theory but doesn't hold out in practice. The buttons are stiff to press so you try to counter the force with your other fingers naturally but the volume controls sit where those fingers go. The top placement would still have worked fine.
Too much time playing with watches and not enough spent on the main product it seems... Just poor ergonomics and lack of in-use development.
No, I accidentally press the non-existent button at the top.
