I don't think that I ever have, just because I don't find watching long videos very enjoyable on such a small display.

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.80 (iPhone; Opera Mini/6.1.15738/25.729; U; en) Presto/2.5.25 Version/10.54)

I watch netflix tv shows and movies all the time on my phone.

is it just the length of the video that size matters or do you not use the iphone for any picture/video viewing becasue its too small?

Mainly length, I don't have a problem looking at or showing pics on the phone, and like I said, eps of shows isn't really a problem, however I wouldn't watch, say, a Fringe episode where I'm concerned about details, and while it looks damn nice, I wouldn't do a movie like the Dark Knight on that size of screen because you're missing too much due to size, not screen quality.

Not since I got an iPad 2. 3.5" is just too painful for movies or even internet.

I used to all the time. Although I have a Motorola Atrix 4G now and the .5 inch increases makes big difference.

If by "spoiled" you mean I have a larger TV at home, and a laptop or PSP to watch movies off of when I'm traveling any significant distance, then yes, I'm spoiled.

Nope, not what I meant.
It's got nothing to do with what you have. It's what you expect or demand.
People are insisting that the iPhone is not a practical movie-watching solution when again, the experience (with earphones) is comparable to viewing on a 30" TV -- something most of the country didn't even have 10 years ago and something most of the world doesn't have even today.

Screen is too for the movie on an iPhone. May be on the iPad, bbut tbh nothing beats a nice flat screen.

The issue for me is that in order to have an experience comparable to my 19" monitor 1m away, the phone needs to be uncomfortably close to my face. focusing on something that close for the duration of a movie is not natural.

I never watched a movie on my iPhone until recently on the HBO and Xfinity apps. I always said the screen was small but never tried until I was at work all day.

Its not that bad, so now I watch tv shows and Netflix on my iPhone 4 when not at home or at work

yes i do watch full movies once in a while
though transfering 5 gb worth of mkv 720p does takes a lot of space on my phone so i should only watch and deleted 1 or 2 at a time.

but i do watch at least 1 episode of sitcom on my iphone every night on my bed

the problem with ipad which is nice to have abigger screen is that its a little bit to big to hold it to watch on the bed.

so iphone suits me better , i can hold it with just 1 hand.

several times now i have started a movie on the iPad and ended up playing it on the iPhone while doing something else on the iPad.

Sometimes . . . when I wake up and want to watch a movie or tv show from netflix in bed. My phone is always near me, but my ipad is in the living room.
