Livin' it up in the fast lane baby!!!

52%/48% now ;)

My life in the fast lane is others screaming at me, "slow traffic move over." That's in between the frequent flat tires and running out of gas.

Notice how I have the 3G Microcell. Oh wait, I forgot. It never freakin' works.

I noticed VZW data was quite a bit slower than At&t data. So what.

Slow data beats no data.

One of my most frequently used apps is "Mark the Spot". I get a text message from At&t every time MTS manages to get through and report a dropped call, slow data, no data, failed call attempt, etc. That thread is the longest SMS thread on my phone.

My phone works relatively well, but I can think of a half dozen situations in the last 90 days where I needed to talk to somebody and my iPhone could not get or keep a signal. Luckily I had my work issued Verizon phone along most of those times and I was able to finish the conversation on that thing.

If no Verizon iPhone comes out tomorrow, the dropped calls aren't all that bad and I'll do just fine. But if one does come out tomorrow, the clock starts ticking for me to switch back.

I would love an LTE iPhone. I'm getting ridiculously fast speeds in the Bay Area, California.

slow lane is better than, gas pedal/brake gas pedal/brake like my iphone was. at least my ver droid gets service consistanly

Wait til tomorrow to decide, it very well could be LTE.

My Droid2 gets 1.8 Mbps down which is good enough for me so Id be happy with that on a VZW iPhone

Apple has said that they will not be exploring LTE tech until its more widespread.

My iPhone 4 just got 3.2Mbps on speedtest.net's app. Literally twice as fast as Verizon; and I've been told that its not uncommon to see 5Mbps in large cities around here.

I do think that the slower data, combined with lack of simultaneous voice & data, puts a (as of now theoretical) Verizon iPhone at a significant disadvantage.

Personally, I have great service with AT&T, and their customer service has been a pleasure to work with.
Come summer, I may switch to an HTC Inspire Android phone, but I'll still be with AT&T

Look at the maps, Verizon 3G kills AT&T. Unless you are in a metro area AT&T doesn't even have 3G. Then if you are in a large metro area like NY, Chicago, San Fran, they deal with dropped calls.

I would rather have Verizon's reliable network with a slightly slower speed in metro areas, but a faster than Edge speed in the rural areas.

A guy on Twitter put it most aptly,

"@wilshipley: AT&T calling Verizon’s service slow is like a dude with a Camaro up on blocks making fun of a guy driving a Prius."

I use my Verizon MiFi so I am not in the "slow lane" while in Edge areas I frequent, however, when I am in 3G areas (where I am most of the time.) I can't stand using my slow MiFi, so meh, I suppose I rather have minimal fast speeds all the time than blazing fast only part of the time. For me its purely speed, AT&T is a great network where they have 3G in my area.

Well considering VZW has 3G in my area and AT&T does not, it won't be very slow compared to EDGE.
