I can't say it goes everywhere I go. Grocery store, no. Swimming pool, no. Out to a tavern, dinner by myself, social events when I have photos to share, any drive out of town, anyplace I take my day pack (so anytime I'm carrying my camera, traveling, hiking, seeing the sights), business meetings, every airline flight/train trip/cruise... yes, yes, yes! It goes everywhere I used to take my laptop, and many places I'd never have bothered to bring it. (I quit carrying my laptop about 3 months after the first generation iPad hit the streets.)

I will be. I just ordered my iPad Mini yesterday. It's supposed to be in my area on Tuesday :). Thank goodness for eBay and fast shipping!

YES. Very excited for you!

At home I'll take it with me if I know I'll have some downtime such as when the car is being serviced.

Tell me about it! I always stare at my phone, and whenever there's a line, half an hour is too long for my phone. Sheesh. I should start carrying my iPad. Brilliant.

Ahh. I was grandfathered into unlimited data until I got the iPhone 5. I figured it was the jump from 3G to LTE that gave them "reason" to change on me. Orrr... That's just Verizon for ya.
You could have bought the iPhone 5 at full retail and kept unlimited like I did. In my case it ended up being cheaper over two years than the share everything plans that Verizon sells today. I pay 81 per month, the share everything plan is more than a $100 per month for 4 gigs.

You had options. It is not Verizon's fault, it is your fault for not doing your research.

What an absolute shame. Too late to do anything now, but sheesh. I just bought it online because I didn't know if there'd be stock on launch day at retail. That's why. At any rate, enjoy YOUR unlimited data! :)

I take mine with me to work, and frequently out with me, either to keep my kids entertained or myself depending on what we're doing. This is the primary reason why I opted for a mini, the portability of it.

Work for browsing although I have a Note 10.1 2014 i just bought and to church to teach, since the developer of the sermon app won't write it for Android.

What app is that?

I see a fair number of iPads at my church, though I don't think they're using any specific app.

I was tempted for a Note 3 phone, but for the same reason, the FileMaker app is IOS only so I didn't want exclude my phone of my karate notes. As I stated, my iPad is my main device to review my karate notes, in a pinch I can view them on my phone - provided its an iPhone

I love to take tech devices along with me whether I am at office, home or travel spot. iPad carrying is not heavy task to do and its iPad mini version is very compact in size easy to carry.

Yup, especially for school, that and school wifi sucks so it's nice to have unlimited data for projects instead of using the clogged system.

I just got my Air before thanksgiving and I do take it with me. I don't use it at work but I find myself taking it out to read on the BART train going to work and doing my daily report on my way back. I'm really glad I choose the Air. It's a full experience to say the least.

My iPad mini retina leaves the house almost every day, using it when commuting on the train, and at work, plus when I´m at visit and got things to show.
My plan includes 100GB per month.

I was having some work done to my, so I decided take the rMini out for the first time and it was great. There was an hour and a half wait until they would start working on my car, so I took a little walk to a near by burger joint and had lunch. My iPhone has unlimited data with unlimited hot spot as well, so I tethered to my rMini and watched The Dark Destroyer vs The G-Man....that's an awesome super middleweight boxing match for all the casual boxing fans out there. :)

This was the first time that I used my iPad for time wasting and it was awesome. The portability of this thing is great and it's light enough to use while in bed and not getting too tired while holding it.

I use mine to lecture from at the college where I work. It is an rMini. At the beginning of this semester I decided to put all my lectures in the cloud and forgo the use of paper, files, and folders. I was lecturing from my iPhone, but it was way too small. When the rMini came out, I immediately bought one. I am so happy that I did. It is the perfect lecture companion. I also use it at home. It barely leaves my hand.

My retina Mini fits in my jacket pocket, so it goes everywhere with me.

My older full-sized iPads never left the house.

I always bring my iPad with me all the time when I get bored on the train and at Starbucks. Now I am at school I bring both my rMBP and iPad to the class. :apple:

I carry 1-3 iPad minis my purse at any given time. Love their convenient size. One has LTE and I use it as a hot spot for the others.

Rarely.

I have my phone with me all the time, so an iPad is redundant.
If i need a bigger screen, a kb, a powerful machine, i bring my rMBP.

When i travel, i bring a mini with me alongside my macbook. It's mostly used by my gf, but sometimes i through a pre-pay sim in it and use it for navigations (as a GPS).

Same here. It's more of an at-home gadget to me. Only bring it if I need it for notes and don't want to drag the MB.
