Take my 3rd gen to class everyday to make notes, also bring it with me to watch movies/play games on the train and if I'm on a plane.

Does your iPad (any size) leave the house often?

I never leave home without it:D

I have LTE model and it serves as a GPS unit, phone, Internet, day planner, video and for showcasing my images to clients so my iPad is never more than a few inches away from me.

I love my Mini Retina!!!

Mine leaves the house almost daily. It always comes with me to the office (both for music/podcasts while working and as a productivity tool). Also makes trips with me to seminars, business meetings, travel, etc. Finally sprung for LTE on my Air when upgrading for my iPad2 that I swore wouldn't get used outside of places I had wifi access.

Take my iPad everywhere with me. Never fear of breaking it as what good is it if you can't use it. That said in the summer I take it outside and use it to play music through my stereo system. Once I had my iPad 3 playing a hockey game and it fell off the porch, landed in the flower bed. Surprisingly not a scratch on it, it feel probably 6 or more feet.

Taking the ipad out of the house is its purpose.
I carry my ipad mini in my coatpocket at all times.

I'm a total freak because I was going to bring it to Thanksgiving but didn't because I didn't want anyone to touch. I know it's an OCD problem I have to work out.

Lol your not alone, I hate other people touching my tech stuff, even my kids or mrs don't touch it.

Adam.

I dont mind people touching my stuff if its family or friends. But not strangers. Germs. if its someone i dont know well, i make them sign a consent form and leave a $5000 deposit with me first before using it.

I do take my iPad out, and either use a BT or Cloud wifi hotspot or tether it to my phone. Most of my usage though tends to be at home.

I don't have a problem the others using my iPad from a 'germs' point of view, some bacteria exposure is essential for us to build up our natural immunities. I don't understand that 'germ avoidance' for that reason. However i'd be more worried about someone borrowing my iPad and dropping it, or messing with any settings than anything else!

Mine goes with me constantly. Coffee shops, visits to family, vacations, etc.

I wear cargo pant that allow me to put it in. I don't know what i would without my ipad outside of home. I do all kind of stuff with it: email, gps, note, contact info and calendar.

Yes I take it out with me most of the time. I have the iPad mini so that's really easy to carry about. I also have a galaxy tab 2 10.1 but I take that out less often as it's much bigger and heavier.

Take it to my parents house when I go visit them and I take it on vacation with me. My MBP stays home all the time now.

I used mine at work, and when I'm out and about at the weekends. So basically, I always carry it with me.
