let me dream ;)

Can't really answer the poll. I can clearly see the iPad mini doesn't have a retina display, but it doesn't bother me too much. The screen is better than the iPad 2 but not as good as the iPad 3/4 (no kidding, eh?).

Don't have a mini, but I do notice a difference between my iPad 2 screen and my wife's iPad 3 screen, although it doesn't bother me enough to upgrade my iPad yet

Notice? Yes. Bother me? Yes.

But still love the mini to bits. Enjoy the weight and form factor. Will upgrade when retina mini is available.

Spoiled by iPad 3 and iPhone 4/4S/5.

yeah i cant answer the poll either, i notice it, but its not enough to bother me.

i will also upgrade to retina as soon as its available (if it ever is)

Yes I notice it. Do I care? Not really. It does what I want in a much smaller package and at a lower price. I can live with that!

I had the ipad 1 and iphone 5 at the same time so I did not care that the ipad screen was not retina. I never had the ipad 3 or 4 so the mini is quite the upgrade from the ipad 1!

Because I use my for longer hours, the screen size and retina screen influence my choice. For a light e-reader and basic web browsing experience, mini would be good here. I have a phone with a 5.5in screen so it fills that niche for me. Do I notice non retina when using one? Yep but if I'm immersed in something the screen quality becomes less an issue and things like ergonomics and size become more an issue
