Well, if you think about it...

If someone can't muster the snap and wherewithall to choose & purchase an iPhone,

How much can they have going for them? I prefer dating someone who makes good decisions and successfully pursues their goals. 😀

All of your opinions are very interesting so far. 😛

I guess this threads interest is over....🙁

I could care less if they had a dumbphone...I can only imagine the reaction.

"Oh, I see that's an Android phone you've got there. This relationship is clearly not going to work."

No, but that's because I like dudes.
Same-sex? Yeah I guess, but no where near make or break. Just a nice perk.

Ummm, no.

If you are attracting someone based on your choice of smartphone, I wouldn't walk, I'd run away as far and fast as I could....

Actually it's a play on the subconscious mind. It's not about conscious preference of what phone you like, it's a subconscious symbol of status. Since the iPhone is an expensive item and costs a lot to maintain (roughly $2,500 for a two year contract) your subconscious mind associates that person in a category of higher social status, and people are generally more attracted to people in the higher section of the social hierarchy. Of course that's only part of the whole reason, but that was just a short explanation.

Good point...

It is interesting. It's not so much about the phone itself, it's more about what your phone choice says about you.

The very fact that a thread like this was created validates the degree of insecurity, low self esteem, and vanity that plagues the Apple community.

It's like using candy to lure little kids.

I can only speak for myself but I have noticed that when women see my iPhone, they come over and immediately drop to their knees.

I don't know what may happen for other iPhone users, but this is just my experience.

In my planet, it doesn't say anything even remotely related to being more/less attractive.

Oh man, I so want that model of iPhone.... :apple:

Really? Most girls I know or see around campus use iPhones or Blackberries.

Well Im still in high school, and apple products are very rare in my region. I know of like 4 girls that have iPhones and like 10+ guys.

Wow, most girls I see I have no idea what phone they use. It's not their phones I'm looking at... 😎

One exception... unless the iPhone is in their back pocket or tucked in their shirt.....
