We had just the stock 200 sms plan that came with the original iPhone plan until our twins were born. I remember that I texted so much in that one day, it was cheaper to just switch to the unlimited plan. We haven't gone back since.

Had the $5 200 message plan and used PingChat a lot to avoid going over, but PingChat went down the crapper, so I upped my plan to the $15 1500 plan.
