Can any1 Suggest me a scratch guard front and back which has the rubbery effect .... I had used one same for my 4S it was a liquid installation and i loved that rubbery effect and it also gave me a good grip. It was from ebay and i donno which brand it was .... Does Zagg or Bodyguardz have them or any other brand.

Zagg has invisible shield, bodyguardz has too!

Power Support, sold in the Apple store, is the best - hands down. $14.95, comes with 2, really good cutouts, easy install and feels so good.

I typically would use the cheapies from Verizon but I bought a couple packs of power support anti-glare HDs a few weeks ago and they ARE the best !!!

Have used the Power Support Anti Glare screen protectors since I got my 1st iPhone (the 3GS). They are the best that I have found. Love that they show no fingerprints.

Yes, because I have a lot of grease... and I use alcohol to clean my laptop and phone every few days.

But I no longer spend more than 10bucks for a iPhone screen protector, and this iPhone 5, I bought the one from monoprice.com, very happy with it.

I was using Ozaki Screen Protector on my 4 and 4S. I also bought Ozaki HD Screenprotector for my iPhone 5. It is really the product I can only advice.

Setup is same as others and you still have to be careful about the bubbles. I never saw something which makes the setup easier. Same setup as most of the others. Fits perfectly on the device. Precise cuts and no fingerprints or any glare like I always had that quality in the previous ones too.

can anyone post ebay links to sellers that have the non-branded OEM Power Support anti glare screen protectors for iphone 5?

Thanks in advance.

I never carry anything other than the iPhone in my pocket so scratches from keys wouldn't be a problem.

So do I still "need" a screen protector or am I good to go with just a good case ?

I used to be obsessive about screen protectors and would spend about $60 on them for each generation of iPhone.

I changed sometime after I got the 4S. I decided to stop using them and have been happy ever since. I never got a scratch on the 4S and so far no scratches on my 5.

Even if you do get a scratch, they are very hard to see and really don't affect anything that you are trying to look at.

I had a Zagg on my iPhone 4 until I got the Otterbox Defender. My iPhone 5 just came in the mail today and I'm undecided. I haven't even taken the shipping materials off of it at this point although I have activated it and updated to 6.0.1.

I'm going to Verizon after work to get a case and get my number ported from AT&T. Are the Verizon screen protectors crap or are they actually decent? I was thinking about going with them but am really completely undecided. My iPad is naked but I also don't carry it around in my pocket or purse and if it's in my backpack it's in a neoprene sleeve. So, anyone have any experience with the Verizon protectors on the 5? Are they decent, do they affect the feel of the screen much and do they affect the display? Any info much appreciated, especially since I'll be at Verizon in about an hour to make my final purchase!

I'm very happy with it. I watched the hinge method installation video on YouTube and put it on in the steamy bathroom. I got a flawless install.
Sure there are fingerprints... Just as many as I got on the naked screen.
With this on my phone I don't worry about scratching the screen when I wipe the prints off on my shirt or pant leg.
I've had it on for a week and have no marks on it.

Can you post a link to the youtube video you mentioned? Also, why the steamy bathroom? jw

I have some cheap case and a zagg invisible shield on the screen. I won't have a touchscreen phone without one.

Why isn't there an iPhone smart covers made by Apple yet? I think they would look fab and great protection.

No one truly knows but this article seems to make it pretty clear that Apple had not been using Gorilla Glass until recently (http://9to5mac.com/2012/03/02/apple...ne-means-gorilla-glass-2-likely-for-iphone-5/).

I don't know how you came away with the impression that the 9to5Mac article makes it clear that Apple had not been using Gorilla Glass, it does no such thing.

Here is another view on the topic: http://www.webpronews.com/iphone-inadvertently-saves-kentucky-factory-2012-05
