But should you have to compromise on such an expensive laptop? You can pick up dirt cheap laptops with straight keys...Slanted keys seem to be widespread. I'll settle for them since I got a 9c8c. Call it compromise...
I'll be interested if anyone says no, they don't!

Most of my function keys were slanted - they were raised higher on the right-hand side, and seemed kind of a bit springier on that side.
I probably wouldn't have even noticed unless I'd read about it on here. You have to look from a very low angle to see it.
However, after using the keyboard for a couple of days, the keys seem to be gradually settling down flat! I don't know whether the screen is pushing them back down when the lid is closed, or whether using the keys is doing the job. Either way, the problem is definitely going away. However, even with the slanty keys, I'm very happy with the Macbook. Personally, I think some people are getting too worked up about a very minor problem.![]()
That's lucky for you. Mine are still as slanty as the day they were born and I've been using my laptop now since the day they came out.
I'm not sure if any of the keys are slanted or not, I gave it a real hard look but I just cannot tell...
And I thought I have a bad case of OCD.
Are you regularly using the function keys that are slanted?
