Do you have Siri set to male/female

Mine is set to female because Siri is consistently bad at giving me the correct information, much like my real wife.

I have mine sent to make. It sounds more natural. And when using it with Maps you definitely want a man giving you directions. When using turn by turn with the female voice it always gets me lost.

I didn't think that anyone ever bothered to change it. I've never even heard the male voice.

I have never tried the male voice and DID find it a little easier to understand. But been doing the female Siri for so long now, I had to go back.

I am sure the sexual preference does have something to do with it for some people.

I'm a gay guy and I have it set with the female voice. Has always been there, it's what I'm used to and that male voice just sounds odd. Not that siri doesn't sound odd too..but I'm used to it. I normally like change, but not here.

The female doesn't sound like my kind of female. Her voice is cheeky and round. I actually liked the old Siri voice.

The guys voice sounds very nice. It has a calm, reassuring tone to it. I also feel like the female one makes more mistakes.

And let's face it, the difference between the voices actually makes sense. I mean I wish I could have the voice of the woman from Her on Siri.
