Do you keep your Apple boxes?

Just wondering if anyone here actually keeps the boxes for the Apple stuff they buy. I know that for computer systems it's a good idea in case you need to send it to AppleCare.

What boxes do you have?

I'm a bugger for doing this.

ANY Electrical item, I keep the boxes for, receipts, and the original bags.

I just think it gives a better impression when you come to sell it on. In my case, about 12 weeks after initially buying the thing in the first place 🙂
 
Just about to throw out my iPod HiFi box... although it's of a decent size to store filed work in. I haven't got the space to store boxes unless they're used for something.

Generally, I'm not a hoarder anyway.
 
I usually hold on to boxes until the warranty is up.

Although I do have a bunch of boxes for astronomy gear that's past warranty.
 
I keep them because I feel it raises the resale value when you can say "all original boxes, manuals, cds, and accessories." It's not just that the new owner might want the box, it's also that I think it projects (rightly or wrongly) a higher level of care towards your computer.

So I have boxes for my nano, macbook, ilife '06, Tiger, and Panther.
 
i keep them too. sorry about the picture quality, i took them with my macbook (i really need a digital camera! 🙁 )

Yeah I keep mine too.

One thing that sucks though I had to cut part of the box for the rebates which totally ruins the boxes 🙁
 
I am a box keeping whore😀 You should see our attic, we have the boxes of every mac and the accessories that we have ever owned, including our Performa 6300CD😀

For example my PC gaming rig, all of the boxes are kept😀

same here, with my macbook and nano boxes. atleast i'm majoring in mac 😀
 
Yeah, I keep mine too..

I guess it's because if I ever sell the item, I want it to be packaged well. (Like josh.thomas said.) But, it rarely happens, so they just accumulate.😱
 
i'm a keeper as well! i know the setup is not ideal with the lighting, and the picture sux because i took it with my phone, but you get the idea.

I just started throwing boxes out. I used to keep them in case I needed to send something back but you don't need it. I had my powerbook repaired and they sent a new box to me to send it out.

I do make my wife marvel at the designs before I throw them out.
 
Oh yeah...I keep them 😉

Alls I got is an iMac, a couple of iPods, Tiger, .Mac, iWork...heck I even kept the box for the Apple Care Protection Plan 🙂
