Do you keep your Apple boxes?

Me too, I use the boxes to decorate my bookshelf.

I keep all the boxes from all electronic purchases like keyboard, motherboard, ram, hard drive, iBook G4, intel iMac, iPod etc. That's why I have the dedicated corner for my boxes 😀.

I keep a lot of boxes. I don't know why. Used to tell myself it was because I would be moving eventually and/or might need to return stuff, but I've been in my new place for a few months now with no desire to move and most of my stuff is either beyond the return period or doesn't need the box. Good thing I have a big apartment.

Mostly I think I'm just lazy.

I like to keep boxes to electronics and software in general, but Apple boxes are very nice, and so I think I have the Apple box to everything I've ever bought:

- iBook G4
- iMac G5 17"
- iSight
- AEBS
- Wireless Mouse
- Wireless Kybd
- Extra power supply (maybe... I can't remember if I got a box when I bought this used)
- Tiger
- Oh, I think I have an iLife 06 box too.

Every one a very nice box.

No pictures right now, too dark out here, but I've got my MacBook and iPod boxes on the shelf next to my Eagle Scout Certificate and my brother's gun safe. It's an interesting mix. My dad also saves every box, some of which are in the attic. It pays off sometimes, I sold my previous iPod in the original box... 2 years later.

I keep my Apple boxes until the time comes to sell the product. I therefore have an iMac box and an iPod box, but in the past have had iBook and Power Mac boxes too. No Panther box though, because it came from ADC 🙁

i only just started realizing it might be a good idea to keep the original packaging/boxes, so the only one i have thus far is for my MB.

oh, and except for the expensive computer items (monitors, external hd's, etc), i'll only be keeping my apple boxes. 😀

i don't do this for moving purposes, mostly for resale.
