I usually turn mine off when I go out of my house,My Wi-Fii at home is up to par with 4G speeds so whenever I go out using Verizon 3G defiantly feels slower but still pretty fast

Only turn it off when I know I'll be in a place without Wifi. But between school and home, wifi is on.

If I'm at home or in class, the Wi-Fi always stays on, however the moment I leave a Wi-Fi area, I turn it off.

Wifi is always on; because I mostly have WIFi around me also at work. I also have my own WiFi mobile router which makes it really obvious that I need my WoFi.

BT will be switched off when not needed.

Of course Wifi is always on. I mean, you pay for it, why not use it?

idk, i figured if there is no wifi around that it would just waste battery. and i didn't think we paid for wifi.

It would be the same as what I posted above because i'd likely to have a data cap. Not to mention, 4G probably sucks more battery than wifi

i meant if you were on unlimited...yeah and i bet 4g does take more battery

Wow, I'm surprised.

I turn wi-fi off every time I leave the house otherwise my battery will be gone in a flash. 3G suits me fine outdoors.

My 3GS loses all of it's battery in just a couple of hours when WiFi is on. My 4S only loses 3% over a span of 8 or so hours ... so I just keep it on most of the time.

Off. I reckon everything you aren't using might as well be turned off. For performance, for security and for battery life. But I understand why a lot people would rather just leave everything on and forget about it.

Is that really so? Must feel bad!

I always leave my wifi on, since I had my 3G, battery haven't been an issue except when playing much!

I leave wifi on all the time.

I'm on Long Island where Cablevision's internet service (Optimum online) has wifi hotspots at almost all shopping areas and major centers for subscribers of its service. So anywhere I go, it auto-connects to 'optimumwifi'. Pretty much the only time I use 3G is when driving or visiting some relatives who don't have wifi.

I always keep wifi on, and my home wifi is faster then my 4g, but then again, I have a fast network.
