Yes or no. Why or why not?

I know a lot of people are saying that the backs shatters and cracks if dropped, which wasn't a concern on the 3GS.

Thoughts?
 
I voted no. I like the way it looks. However, I would have liked something with better scratch resistance. Although again, it's sexy as hell.
 
No. I would rather have something more durable than good looking. Function over form. I just got a case for my phone today, which really helps the feel of this thing. Gives it a little more meat!

Love it. Super sexy look for the phone. I have always used my left pocket for my phone with nothing in it so I've never been too worried of scratches. I use the black bumper so when I place the iPhone on a table it wont be sitting directly on the glass. Plus I think the black on black iPhone/bumper thing adds to the sleek look which is my new iPhone 4.
 
I do like the aesthetics of it, but I'd rather a plastic or aluminum backing.

I generally have a small revolver in one of my pockets, so my iPhone goes in the other. With my 3GS with a case on it, I was never concerned about having change or flash drives in the same pocket as my phone, but this back is causing me to reconsider. Just waiting for a skin to come in so I can stop worrying about it. I'd also like it if Seidio would release a nice full body case.

I love the glass back. It feels so amazing and is more durable than anyone thinks. I use no case and I'm doing great so far.
 
I really like it. It's very durable and scratch resistant (compared to the scratch-happy plastic of the 3G) and makes the phone look much more upscale than it really is.
 
I love it!, it just looks ******** amazing!!

BUT I would be very worried to shatter it if I drop it with out a case, probably with a case it wont shatter but with out one! :(

I would love that. :) Maybe the word iPhone on the bottom as well. But I could go either way with that. I feel like it may look uneven with the Apple towards the top and nothing to complement that bottom.

I figure all that legal jargin either fills some sort of legal requirement or gets them out of hot water with person/company/government X. I'd love to see it gone though. Especially with this sleek new form factor :)

are you joking or are you serious? Are you allowed to walk around with a gun in your pocket over there?

Here in Melbourne, Australia, we get arrested if we are caught carrying a knife.
