Do you like the new vibrate for receiving text messages on iOS 4.3?

I hated it at first but now I like it. I like when in class I can tell if I received a text or an e-mail.

Hmm. Somebody send me a text message!

No, but seriously, what are you talking about? I don't get texts so you'll have to explain it to me.

I'm assuming the Verizon iPhone doesn't have this vibrate function. Am I assuming correctly?

VZW iPhone doesn't have 4.3 yet... when it has it, or the next update, it should contain this feature.

I see. But one thing has been bothering me...I was woken up by the email notification sound along with a vibration. Does the Verizon iPhone vibrate when an email is received? Or was I still sleeping/hallucinating? o_O

It's a double vibrate. Two short and quick vibrates.

Yes it does, along with a beep if you have that enabled.

It is different ... not sure if I really have a preference. Sounds a bit more muffled I guess.

iP4 is just now getting vibrate for texts and mail?

I can get vibrate for just about anything if i enable it. Seriously, im kinda shocked this is a discussion for iPhone. I thought Android was the one catching up? Guess not. Seems its been caught and passed a little.

Just go into settings/sounds/text tones then click one. It will vibrate twice. :)

    I like it better.

Eh, It was slightly annoying, but it makes it easier to differentiate between emails and texts when on silent so I guess its an improvement

I don't have my phone set to vibrate so I can't say I love or hate it. Too bad there' s not a poll option that has "meh, I don't care"

I like it. The two short vibes are much more efficient than one medium-length vibe for me.

you should add "don't care" to this poll, because 99% of people could care less.
