1. Apple stock
2. All current Apple devices
3. Selfies with Tim and Hair Force at WWDC
4. Regular tweets and posts about how Apple can do (and does) no wrong
5. Extra points if you have all Apple hardware ever made.

I believe if you are able to achieve these, you will become the de facto Apple God to all the Apple fanatics amongst us.
I am afraid that that status is a bit too fanatical for me. I don't look good in capes or robes.

By the way if your going to throw around titles, Apple fanboy is the one you want to aspire to! ;)
To my mind, Apple Nerd (and nerd in general) is a good thing. Fanboy is not. A fanboy is blind to problems. A nerd can still acknowledge that issues like the GPUs going to the ******* on 2011 MBPs or Touch IC chips on iPhones breaking regularly is pretty ****. Actually caring about Apple means wanting them to be the best they can be, which includes both being happy for their successes and critically reflecting on their mistakes, and hopefully, as the voice of the community, showing that we want them to do better. And doing what we can for that cause as well, sending feedback reports through the proper channels about bugs or creating a nice community on places like MR to foster a positive image of Apple enthusiasts who help each other out and welcome everyone, etc.

God bless Hair Force One. Unfortunately I have no selfies.... Will emails from both do?

Are you sure? Think we could fashion a nice super-hero outfit for you. Like Super Man but with an  on the chest instead of the S.... Actually we could just use one of the shirts - I think the blue one would work nicely for this.

I also visited an apple orchard in Michigan once, and I think you'd need to use these as your batarangs to complete the superhero transformation

To be honest I chose the username as I was looking for something that was better than Jon 223 etc. I am a fan of many Apple products, but many just don’t grab me. They used to be better in my opinion. I don’t think things have improved in terms of quality control and software releases. But generally I have had few issues over the years, and when I have they have been resolved to my satisfaction.

Gonna be honest, I did not look at your username at all before reading this, haha

I have
apple ][ -- modified with a toggle switch to boot Apple DOS 3.1 or 3.2
apple ][+
apple IIc
apple IIgs

that all still boot up....does that count?

and Apple Watch

A complete nerd should own a Watch and of course at LEAST 5 different Apple straps - otherwise you’re just a wannabe fanboy ;-)

Not just an Apple Watch but a hipster heard, a corduroy elbow patched jacket and you must use a MacBook Pro in a chain of Starbucks or Costa Coffee. The watch should be on show though for extra points..

People in every line of business, entertainment, and politics all around the world own iPhones - and - a healthy percentage of those folks own Apple Watches. For the most part, the preference centers on being as productive as possible in their preferred environment. They aren't Apple nerds, they just want to use the best tools possible to succeed in what they're doing.

One of my brothers actually says he actively dislikes Apple…. He has an iPhone a few iPads and an Apple Watch. And AirPods. Still says he doesn’t like Apple and would never touch a Mac. He likes his iPhone, iPads and Apple Watch. He thinks they’re good tools that are better than the competition. But he hates what he’s tried of the Mac and likes Windows. He’s a bit weird like that. One day I’ll get him to see sense

An Apple Watch is definitely not required to be an Apple nerd. I recently sold mine after trying it for a few months. It was okay but I didn't find it very useful. I may revisit it down the road, but for now, I can certainly live without it.

I've bought and sold so many Macs over the decades from the original 512K Mac to LC's to Quadras to Performas to G4's. etc..

So in my eyes, there is no Apple without Macs. Today, it's just a sliver of Apple's revenue.

Looks like you have crossed over to Apple nerd status. Congrats on the watch. It's my favorite Apple device. :D
It is! I never thought I’d like it as much as I do, but I really love this thing. The workout app makes it so much easier to track my stats while riding my bike. One quick look & I can see my heart rate, my distance ridden, my avg speed, the elevation gain, the time elapsed & my cal burned which is awesome! And not just for the health benefits. I love the notifications. Just being able to quickly glance at my watch & not have to take my phone out of my pocket seems like a minor thing, but it is so convenient. For phone calls, messages & so much more.

Absolutely. I wear mine all the time, unless I am charging it before bed. I like being able to answer or make calls from the watch, as well as answering texts, provided the environment is quiet for dictation. Outside of the workout function which is great via the "WorkOutDoors" app I use, I also like the watch with driving navigation, as it gives haptic feedback when you are supposed to turn. I especially like waking up with haptic feedback in the morning with no annoying alarm sound.

I wish there was a select more than one option because the bottom two options seemed close to Apple Nerd-em. I mean collecting apple devices to enjoy the Ecosystem is one thing but if you are spending all your waking days salivating over everything having to do with Apple, that seems nerdy.

I'd say you have to feel personally attacked or offended when random people comment on Apple's policies and so on.

I changed the poll to allow for 2 nerdy votes.

Depending on the person, I wouldn't necessarily say that counts as Apple nerdy as much as it may be out of balance or misguided.
I'd say it's part of the package. It's not enough by itself, yet it seems to be a common tread in many Apple 'entushiasts' around here.

I own an iMac, MacBook, iPad, iPhone, iPod and AirPods and have been using Apple products since 2010. I keep up with and discuss their products on this website along with a few other tech sites (not sure if that makes me a nerd) but I do consider myself a satisfied Apple customer. I held off buying an Apple Watch until last November because I prefer mechanical watches, but I have to say it has been a wonderful addition and appreciate the features and freedom it offers from the iPhone
