I work with Linux, UNIX, and Windows Server products at work so I have a Windows machine here for work purposes, but to be honest all it does is have a lot of OS images on it for use in VMWare Workstation and Guild Wars. I'll let you guess which I ended up using it mostly for. ;)

I got myself a PB in December 2005 and don't miss my Dell box at all. I never had any hardware issues with my Windows machine, but the Mac's "handling" beats it in every way.

Even if my Dell still exists, I consider myself as a "Mac only" user, because my Dell has never been touched since December last year.

Great job Apple!

I've got 2 PCs, one a dell another a gateway, (as in my sig) and of course my beloved powerbook. I like them all. The gateway's good for games and the dell is good for uh, using bittorrent and storing things. Nothing compares to the PB though. Yeah PCs aren't that bad once you reformat them to get rid of all the junk and spyware. PCs arent born evil, they become evil when stupid people use them.

Back in October, I saw the LIGHT and moved to the Mac. I've still got some Windoze machines sitting around though because I love my Macs so much that I don't want to even take the time to fire up the stupid Windoze machines long enough to finish clearing out the files from them so that I can get rid of them altogether. I live on my iMac and my PB now; the old Windoze machines haven't been turned on in quite a long time....

I currently have one of each, an iBook and an old Dell Desktop. I use both fairly regularly. The only reason I still have a PC at this point is because I didn't have the money to upgrade both at once - I'm hoping to get a mini this summer, and then my switch to mac will be complete:D

I used to own a Dell, but that sort of became the "family" computer so I got myself a PB. The Dell was getting old so my parents bought an iMac = no more Windows. :)

Where's the Linux option? Although I have a laptop from work that has Windows on it, since I installed Linux for dual booting, then got my Mac, I haven't actually found any need to boot it into Windows and might just reformat and install only Linux.

I have a Dell latitude laptop, use it mostly for server management because we have a xseries server, BUT, we just got our mac xserve delivered on Friday, which I can't wait to start using.. :D

Between me and my girlfriend, we own three macs, but don't actually own any PCs.

However, both of us have Windows laptops supplied by work, which we probably end up using (through necessity) more than the Macs.

I have a PB 1.33 17".
We also have a Toshiba Centrino.
The kids have a no-name Pentium 2.4 for games, and two old laptops (W98 & W2K) for homework.
Next purchase will be a Mini.

I have the pc in my sig that I use as my primary machine, a windows laptop that I use (and hate) and a clamshell G3 iBook. This June I'm going to be selling the windows laptop and getting me one of those great new intel ibooks :D and then before I go to college I intend to get a MacBook Pro..*drool*

I have a Dell Dimension Desktop 2.6 Ghz Pentium 4 still a bit of life left in it yet.

Not really sure if I will buy another PC not going to go down the Linux root (my attitude to it is similar to that of Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie;)

Half thinking about in the future getting one of these fancy 5 Ghz PowerPc Sun Workstations with Open Solaris:eek: but thats in the future.

I still own both. I hardly ever use my Windows box anymore but I keep it around for a couple of apps that don't work on my mac...yet...

My Windows system does everything I ask of it. But, whats that? .....not much.
At the most, I run 2 to 3 applications at the same time. iCan't wait for the MacBook Pro!

Just because nothing is ever black and white...

I myself only own 1 machine. My powerbook. If my family left and took everything that wasn't mine I'd be stranded with 1 computer. However we have 2 family desktop PC's downstairs and a family laptop that floats around from time to time.

Earlier today I released the final version of Satan Sam so I'm done with PC's pretty much for the whole foreseeable future. Even my gran wants to get an iBook so she can use the internet when she pops off to mainland Europe. It's all good! Actually I cant wait to get that horrible thick chunky laptop off my desk. It's ruining the style of my bedroom dammit!

I have 2 Macs and 3 PC's:

eMac 1.25GHz Combo G4 (Mine)
Bondi Blue iMac G3 233MHz (Mine; gathering dust)

PC's:
HP Pavilion ze4427wm (Mine)
Dell Dimension 4700 (Family)
Compaq Presario 5000t (Brothers)
All 3 run Windows XP Home SP2 :(

I use the Dell and eMac about the same amout; Dell is actually a half decent computer (for Windows XP)

I only own PCs for now.
Since im no longer playing games, I'll sell my "gaming pc" and buy an iBook when they go Intel (hopefully next tuesday)

They actually still sell PCs? :p

Only Macs here, 2 of. A G3 iBook and a G3 iMac. :)
Maybe a MacBook Pro soon if I can find a silk-screen to replace the name with PowerBook.
Nah, rev. B MPB for me. :D :D :D

I have nothing againts non-Mac PCs, I just prefer Macs.

I only own a PC, custom built and problem free since I built it.

But a MacBook Pro would be nice

I have a windows box too, as well as my iMac G5 and AlPB. Its sole purpose in life is BitTorrent, it resides in the garage chugging away downloading and uploading 24/7 ;) :D

let's see...

- iBook 12"/1.33 GHz/512 MB/40 GB, Tiger
- IBM X20 12"/Pentium3-600/192/20, Linux and XP
- self-built PC Pentium4-2.4/768/440, Linux and XP
- whitebox PC 486DX2-66/16/1GB. Windows95 (retired)
and: (well, my Mom owns it now, but it was my old machine and I still care for it...)
- whitebox PC Pentium2-266/256/6.4, Linux

so, there is XP residing on some of my machines but it's not used very often - a little Quake3 and NeedForSpeed every now and then...
