I used to be very OCD just to TEST how long I can go with it. I am not as much as I used to now that I turned the % off and have other smartphones doing the Wi-Fi and music duties. Besides, it is healthier to keep the battery topped off which I am guilty of not going as I always tended to wait until it died. Now I just charge it whenever it is getting close to 20%. The usage tends to lie sometimes too. I did not use my phone for 5 full days last week. No apps opened but did occasionally glanced at the time from the lockscreen which was about 5-10x. The screen shuts off in less than 10 sec. My batt % was on and it was on airplane mode. By the 5th day (Friday), it was only down at 95% but the usage said 28min.

So just turn off the batt %, keep it topped off, and don't always trust the usage time.

Yes, I look into my battery percentage because I hate having a dead iPhone in my pocket.

The days I make to charge it the night before, I'm golden for the rest of the day...

But my days are sometimes hectic and cannot have a dead iPhone on me.

Luckily, the iPhone charges quickly. I was at 2% earlier this morning and an 1 1/2 hours later jumped up to 70% which helped me make it through the rest of my day.

I don't worry about the battery life, though am observant of it so as to not be caught in a pickle.

I'm pretty obsessive about it if I know I won't be around a charger for a while.

You guys must not use your phones too much if they last for days. My phone hits about 20%-30% after a 10 hour day. This is with my brightness relatively low & very few applications left open. I feel like it should last longer. Maybe it's just because I text a lot.
