6s vs 6s Plus

7+, lighter, narrower, and thinner. Mark my words.
6s+ is a 6+ squeeze in significant thicker & heavier 3D-touch screen, make it too heavy for one hand operation for anyone without large hand and with any case offer some drop protection.
We need edge to edge display to make it narrower, newer electronic for less power consumption hence smaller battery in thinner case without sacrifice total hours, and different material for lighter overall weight.

6s+ coming from a 6+. I tried the 6 for a couple of months before getting the 6+. On launch day this year o pre-ordered both the 6s and 6s+. I used the 6s for a couple of hours and it went right back in the box.

It took me the better part of a year to completely get used to the size and now that I am, using the 6s+ is wonderful.

As I've already said, 6s Plus all the way. I've just been out with my brother who has the 6s and he said to me "the 6s+ is just too big!". After a couple of friends joined us, one with a 6+ and the other with a similar sized Samsung it was my brothers phone that looked small and odd. Even he had to admit that the 6+'s didn't look "that big"...

A quick story; After my wife died 10 years ago I went out and bought a 32" TV. I felt "embarrassed" a the huge size of the thing! A year later I went out and bought a 42" TV and again had the same feelings, my parents coming in and saying "What the? That's way too big". The next year I bought a 50" top of the range Pioneer Plasma and again, same feelings (had to ask my dad to help me pick it up to place on stand!). Anyway, my point is and that what I'm trying to get across is that as long as it's physically practical to use, carry around, put it the pocket etc, the bigger the better! What's not to like about a bigger display? My 6s Plus fits into my pocket fine, can be used in one hand fine, and, for me, is THE best sized phone available at the moment. 6 PLUS ALL THE WAY!

I can tell a difference in screen quality on my 6 750p screen and 6s Plus 1080p screen.

Side by side I like the screen on my 6S over the 6S+ I returned.
The brightness is better the colors are better whites are whiter blacks are blacker. I guess That's why Apple introduced the 2 sizes, keeps phablet people happy and keeps phone people happy.

I just got a 6S Plus yesterday. Coming from a 6. I should have bought the 6 Plus when I bought the 6 so I mostly upgraded for the size difference but now that I have the S I'm really loving 3D Touch and a better camera, so it worked out lol. It's a noticeable speed bump too, now on par with my iPad Air 2 but slightly faster. I'm not as much cracked up about Live Photos but we'll see as time goes on - right now I see it as a storage hog and a gimmick. 3D Touch though, IMO, will eventually be a gamechanger if not already.

Anyway, I definitely prefer the plus as a guy who's nearsighted with huge hands and felt like the iPhone 6 was way too small. But now they are making a MINI for people who think the 6/6S is too big. Man. And I thought my phone was tiny.

Hello. I did not find such a topic, so I am sorry in the case there's been one yet. Which one do you prefer?

I would have to say the 6s because it just feels better in the hand.

I had the 6 plus and I loved it but I never got use to holding it.

6s Plus coming from 6 Plus. Great screen, great battery life. Fits my shirt, pants, Jean, coat pockets with no problem. One handed use with either black Apple leather case or red silicone case. Can not see going back to anything smaller ever again.

That's the way I feel coming from the 6 to the 6s plus! The 6 feels small to me now.

Got an iPhone 6S Plus for Christmas, it's a nice companion for my 5. Still on Christmas vacation but I'll see how things go once I'm back to work and commuting. I'm shovelling using my 5 but enjoying my Plus while I'm in the house.

This is my usage. Bought the 6S+ for home and other places and the 6S for work. I still have my 6+ too.

I have both.

Prefer the 6S Plus, but not by a huge margin.

Love the battery life and bigger screen, but find myself grabbing the smaller one often just because it is easier to carry.

Too many phones for my taste, though I still have my iPhone 6. I plan on selling it or give it to my niece in exchange for her 5s. I have never had a 5s and would like to own one.

To be honest, I have not reached for my 6 one time since I got my 6s Plus. I just cannot put this beast of an iPhone down. I have officially switched over to the S iPhone versions. They do not have the latest design, but their internals perform much better over many iOS iterations than the non S versions.

I understand completely.

Usually when I grab the smaller iPhone, it's because I'm headed out the door on a hike with the dog.

If I'm off the grid for an extended period, I'll grab the smaller iPhone because it has a number on it that's not registered, and you know how it works: It's up to you whether the main number's iMessages, emails and voice calls show up on the other devices.

:)

Just another one of those wonderful perks of the Apple ecosystem.

I understand why some ppl choosing the Plus over the smaller size, but i dont get why you (and others) prefer having 2 phones in 2 different sizes, one for home use and one for work\outside use, when you need to replace the sim between them all the time, instead of having tablet (for the house) and a phone ?
Of course if you using 2 sims\numbers forget my question

I have four phones activated on T-Mobile. Three of them are iPhones and the fourth goes between a fourth iPhone and either a Note 4 or Note Edge which I no longer bring anywhere with me. I buy all my phones either sim free or pay for them outright so I can buy a phone anytime I want.

There is no swapping sims between the 6S and 6S+ you are referring to.

I've had both since launch of 6 & 6 plus. Bought 6s & 6s plus on launch date. Like both. I guess if i could only have one it would be 6s plus.

I wish I had this kind of disposable income.

I only have one sim but as of December 25th my iPhone 5 is going to be on my wifi for the rest of its service life. iMessage and email will arrive just fine when I'm away from new phone. I was due for my upgrade so I got this 6S Plus, and I kept my iPhone 5 as I kept my 3GS before it. (THAT is a fun one to use for a few minutes before switching back to a 5.5" 1080 screen!) Already had it so why not use it, I figured. The Plus isn't going to be placed in the risky position of my humid coat pocket during shovelling, or when I'm changing oil this way, but I'll still have the use of a phone I can be careful with in the garage instead of being downright skittish:)

Yes, I'm using two SIM. And part of the advantage of the Apple ecosystem is that you can choose to have one number ring the other phone, and have iMessages show up on both phones.

If you want.

Or if you're trying to be left alone, you don't have to do that at all. :)

6s+ I am in my late 70's and the larger size allows me to read the screen due to the larger size. Had a smaller phone and it just way too hard to read. Just got mine a month ago and it is great.
