6s vs 6s Plus

I got both 6s and 6s+. Use the plus at home. If I had to choose it would be the 6s. I prefer the more pocketable phone. Much easier to fit in to every day life.

I own the 6plus and think it is a bit big... Now 1 year after purchase I am used to the size and balancing it around in one hand (With a grippy leathercase)

if you do not own a tablet then the 6plus is nice.
if you do alot of video then the 6 plus.
The battery life is also a plus.

If you could choose today I would go for the 6 only because I own a mini retina

I use both for work purposes but prefer the 6 plus. Battery life destroys the 6 and I find the significantly lower screen resolution of the 6 bothersome as I can't stand seeing pixels.

6S+! All I can say is Battery Life! Today I had a flight at 6pm, left the house at 3pm got to the airport at 4pm. Used my phone for the entire 2 hours, then the flight was delayed cause the captain and a flight attendant disappeared, that took another 2 hours to resolve and when I boarded, I had 50% after 5 hours of use! On the plane(2.5hr flight) used my phone for music and reading a book the entire flight, landed and it was on 45%!

I started out with the iPhone 6S then went to the 6S Plus, but it was such a pain as I am a big fan of 1 handed text, so I went back to the 6S and Im perfectly happy.

Tried using the 6 for a few days and while the size and slim profile were nice, I missed the battery life and superior screen resolution of the Plus.

Edit. Didn't realize this thread was specific to "S" models. My mistake :)

I tried out the 6S+ in the store, just a tad too big for me, so I picked the 6S, and love it.

I got my wife a 6s RG. It is perfect size and weight for smaller size phone, but 6s+ is different story, compared with 6+ I already had.
One thing it really bother me is Apple squeeze in heavier 3D Touch display in new heavier material case. Which result into a larger phone I think is just too thick for additional case, and too heavy to one hand all day long with good protection case, at least compared with 6+, when I played with it in store. I know a lot of people is feeling fine with add thickness and weight due to 3D Touch and 2G memory are both big deal improvement, but once 7 is out with thinner, lighter, maybe even narrower if Apple does go edge to edge display, they will think how did they handle 6s+ for one year one handed.

6s+ - better screen resolution, OIS, battery life and extra screen real estate for everything from reading to gaming makes this phone a winner for me.. Had the smaller phone had features like OIS and screen resolution it might be a difficult call for me. But my hands are large enough to handle the 6s+ one handed.

So, I had the 6S and eventually bought a 6S+ two months later to try it out. Recently sold the 6S and decided to go with the Plus. Why? Because when I first got the Plus, I was overwhelmed by the weight and height of it but eventually got used to it and the battery life was night and day between them. I had eventually decided to stick with the 6S and sell the Plus after checking out some reviews on the battery smart case exclusive to the 6S. Only thing is that when the reviewer weighed it with the case on, it was actually heavier then the Plus. I love cases as most people do and had about ten of them from Apple Leather cases to some super thin cases from Amazon but the funny thing is when adding the case, the one-handedness kind of suffers. Also, had a friend come over with an Otterbox on their 6S and it was heavier then the Plus. So, I decided to sell the 6S instead and keep the 6S+. Caseless but I did add a skin from DBrand and it's worked out so far. Enjoying the OIS, better battery, and screen size. I honestly could've kept either one and be happy with my choice but I figured I might as well try something new since the 6 & 6S didn't feel like as much of an upgrade from my 5S as I'd hoped. Now awaiting the 7....

Not that I'm a broken record but I prefer a 4" phone, after my experience of using the iPhone 6 - the 6 is just too uncomfortable to use one handed.

So ... I voted 6S+ ... because you have to use the device in a different way. Once you get past the thought that you can never again use it with one hand, you accept it for what it is - the smallest tablet you can buy which can also make voice calls.

I had the 6 and now the 6S+. I thought it was going to be too big but after using it a while I'm completely comfortable with it and it doesn't seem too big at all. I would defiantly not go with the smaller model again.

it's a matter of personal tastes ....

I'm not ok with carry an iPhone 6S+ during summer, with only jeans or trousers and a shirt on.
During winter it doesn't matter, because i have plenty of pockets available anyway.
but having to choose one, I bought an iPhone 6s

In terms of usage, 6s+ beats 6s any day. The only disadvantage is of carrying it around especially wearing skinny outfits

6s. I have my iPad Mini if I want to watch videos on a bigger screen. Plus, I like the fact that my 6s fits comfortably in my jean and pant pockets when I'm out or at work.

I'll be eligible for it too once it comes out. Can't imagine going smaller than a 5.5" screen.

Plus or Pro always from here on out. Made the switch to Plus on the 6S and love it. I occasionally hold a 4/4S/5/5S and I just can't believe I used to have a phone that teeny tiny. Lol

This. The extra screen real estate on the 6s Plus doesn't compare to even the smallest iPad. If you have both, the 6s makes more sense because you can always switch to the iPad for things better done on the bigger screen. Only thing is I wish the battery life were a little better. It's pretty bad.

I switched to android in 2013 because iPhone screens were still stuck on 4". Switched back as soon as the 5.5" iPhone became available. 6S+ all the way. Sharper screen, superior battery are well worth it.

For a while I preferred the larger screen and the perception that my battery longevity between charges wouldn't be ideal with the smaller phone. But, I've found on a couple different 6's and now the 6S that I get more than sufficient battery life AND the added benefit of one hand usage ability. win-win I'd say....
