Not sure if still serious.

Those memory logs are not referring to storage space...

I know they are not referring to storage space, but according to the Apple tech I was having low memory crashes because I did not have enough available memory to do the tasks I was doing.
My available storage was almost filled up.
It was recommended either I delete some things or go for a higher storage model iPad.
Which is what I did,I exchanged for a 32gb and haven't had any more problems.

Simple poll. Just wondering if people send it in and if not, why?

I normally didn't but decided I will now with my Air to hopefully help them see these low memory issues I'm starting to see a few of.

Yep, I have mine turned on too.

No...........likely you had an iOS7 problem and the new one simply doesn't have that. If you run into low storage again feel free to prove me wrong.

The diagnostic like that doesn't relate to storage though, I get low memory reports all the time and it's because iOS devices still only have 1GB ram. I have 11GB of storage available on my 5S

Been sending iPad, iphone logs since iPhone 3G. Always low memory crash reports. Does apple listen? Nope.

Never used to with my previous iPads; however, rMini with iOS 7 seems more "crashy" so I just started sending it.

Now I know why Apple doesn't advertise RAM amount. Some people really don't know how to distinguish between RAM/memory and storage.

The more people that send diagnostics the better for everyone. So yep, I always send them. Because I genuinely want your next iOS update to be better too.

that's not true - these aren't black box devices like a VCR - these are computers. When was the last time you bought a computer at the store and didn't see any specs listed out? Of course this is apple we're talking about; they don't tell you because they don't give you that option to even know!

Everyone wanted the same thing as you, but look what we got? iOS 7! Terrible.

I do on my iPod touch and MacBook, but my school-issued iPad 2 has the option grayed-out (and disabled) as a restriction. Funny- wouldn't they want Apple knowing if school iPads are crashing all the time?
