Does anyone shower/bath with their watch on?

People have but I see no use in it. It will just get gunked up with the same scum that covers you tile walls. Rinsing will not help, just like it does not clean the scum off the walls, it will take something stronger.

I accidentally showered with my series 0 once. Then I did it again every day for about 6 months until I got a series 2, which I’ve showered with every day since. No issues with either; both work fine, no gunk or scum, and the cum rinses off ok!

I don't think that word means what you think it means.

LOL. Guess that is why the spell checker did not catch it!😛

So why does it not just rinse off the walls? If it did we would never have to clean the shower.

If I workout and sweat with it on, I shower with it afterwards. No sweat, no shower with the watch.

Why would you shower with a watch on? Take the watch off and clean that wrist!

I don’t wear it tight, so when it’s lubed with shower gel, it slides up and down easily - why is this thread so ripe for innuendo?! - and it’s easy to clean both the watch and the wrist.

If I'm all sweaty for working out or working in the yard or been in ocean or pool all day then yes I shower with it. I take it off and wash it under the water to get it clean and use a little soap on the band then rinse and set it outside the shower and dry it off and run the lock/unlock water sequence at least twice to make sure all the water is out. I've been doing this for 2 years and never had a problem. Mine is a series 2 Nike Edition.

Most of the time, no. Occasionally I will so I can change the music from my watch during my shower. That’s a nice convenience. Same for being in the pool.

This is not necessarily true. You can still shower with your Apple Watch with soaps and conditioners on it, thoroughly rinse it off when you’re through and dry it off with a clean cloth. Many have done this And never had problems. Its All about how you manage it. Yes, the lotions/soaps can weaken the seals over time, but it doesn’t necessarily ‘gunk ‘it up if you properly take care of it.

The morning shower phase is the BEST time to simply take the watch off, put it on the charger and charge it up for the day. I wake up and take the watch off, put it on the charger, get ready in the morning, bfast, shower, etc., and put it back on before leaving the house and it's FULL.

Always showered with it. I use a fair bit of soap everywhere so no problems with dirt behind the band.

I can control my music from the shower or bath.

Not since ruining a perfectly good Hamilton watch in the 1960s: I nearly dropped it on the floor as I was reaching to silence the alarm clock one morning. Somehow noticed I was about to shove the watch off the edge of the nightstand but managed to grab it. Then of course the autopilot in my brain helpfully took over and apparently suggested that since I had it in hand, why not put it on. Of course, and how sensible!

Next stop: shower, wash hair... I didn't even notice it then, until I reached for a towel, and then in hastily taking it off I did drop it... onto a tile floor. Yeah, don't ask. I tried two different jewellers...

I really am worthless without coffee in the morning. I am the very person Keurig made that k-cup travesty of a brewing machine for, even if I only use it for a first cup to retrieve some basic common sense and ability to use a French press... and to avoid putting a watch on before showering. I bet I could even kill an Apple watch before my first cuppa coffee...

Mostly, no. Since I sleep with my watch, I use the once or twice a day shower to help charge. Occasionally, though, I'll hop in with it still on.
