You can still buy buggy whips if you look hard enough, doesn't mean they're mainstream goods.

at least not till you get your buggy whip with a built in MP3 player. :)

Honestly, I am at a loss as to why this thread doesn't die. Some people want the physical media, and others only want stuff electronically.

Aside from a poll, how much more is there to say?

CD's ? Never heard of 'em

Although I still have heaps gathering dust....

They still make good coasters for sitting my mug on :)

Never use then for backup.... now i all my stuff either streamed (movies/TV shows) or backuped/storage on hard drive.

Get in this centuary....... The way of the floppy disk.

What century? Paper and parchment are still readily accessible - and legible - decades and centuries later, while the earliest version of the floppy disk is already completely obsolete. Give me paper any day.......along with a nice, elegant fountain pen....

thats why I liked to story some weeks ago with Bruce Willis to sue Apple over the transfer of files ... too bad it was an April Joke in late summer.

I also have lots files from Apple; at least recently I upgrade those to Apple+ format (or whatever name) to get DRM-free versions of the music. My movies still linked to an Apple ID from my former country. Apple (and others, to be fair) make it actually really complicated to live a mobile life as they suggest. Mobile life is ok; just don't leave the city.
