Never leave home without it. In fact, I choose my bag purchases based on there being an iPad-sized exclusive pocket for it.

Yep, my iPad goes with me everywhere, too. I have various bags in which I carry it, most often using the Waterfield Designs / SF Bags Muzetto, but I also have various purses, some of which are large enough for the iPad, and a couple of messenger bags which are more than sufficient for carrying it. As someone else mentioned, the criteria for any new bag now includes that it be large enough for the iPad.
I carry mine everywhere in a BookBook case. I've even dropped it a few times with no damage at all and any scratches on the case look intentional.
