Hmm... I'm just waiting for the body building types to list their supplements
Surely there must be 1 or 2 here on MR
I do, just a plain-label multivitamin and broad spectrum mineral supplement in periods where I know I'm not eating well, say 1 or 2 weeks in every month... that's about it. So it's not every day and I do try to eat a lot of raw foods now and again...
But Hilary Swank also takes supplements, 45 tablets a day.

And I've recently been looking at ads on the trains on the London Underground, some for the most pseudo-scientifically named supplements that claim to do all sorts of magical things for eyes, skin, hair etc... have we gone too far?
I take a generic-brand multivitamin everyday.

no pills here, but the occasional 'reality' supplement like Bushmills tends to fix what ails me![]()

A good contractor will always have nice tight joints. Those used to work for me, too, but I gave them up a year ago.![]()
I always like Australia's own Pan pharmaceuticals. Pan Pharmaceuticals was an Australian company and one of the largest contract makers of complimentary and alternative medicines in the world (which includes multivitamins). It supplied around 70% of Australia's demand and exported everywhere under dozens of different brands.Do any of you find they actually have any effect?

If you're not already, try to eat a jar of natural peanut butter a week. It'll supply you all the calories you need to gain/maintain mass without using expensive supplements. Make sure it's 'natural' and not full of sugar and salt. Great in milkshakes and home made protein bars.not exactly a body builder but i do hit the gym 3x a week. currently i'm taking multivitamin+minerals w/o iron. i also take fish oil and drink a protein supplement called muscle milk light.
i must admit that i've been looking into additional supplements. that is because despite my nutritious diet, it took me more than 5 months to gain 9 lbs (which i'm struggling to keep!). however, it'll take me at least another 2-3 months to find a suitable supplement, cos i like to find out how the mechanisms work and what the effects are.
Stampyhead said:My mom works part time at a health food store (just so she can get discounts on her supplements!) And she told me about monatomic mineral supplements from Harmonic Innerprizes. They have several different products and each one produces different results. I included the URL because the company that makes them can explain what they do way better than I can. I've take Etherium Pink and am now taking Etherium Gold and I have noticed a shift in my moods since I've been taking them.
A jar of antigravity! Scientists! Mystical cultures! And then the good old disclaimer;Harmonic Innerprizes said:Harmonic Innerprizes, Aulterra; The DNA Activator 240 - 300mg $99.95! We believe the discovery of monatomic gold and the platinum group metals by David Hudson are rediscoveries of an advanced science understood by ancient Mesopotamian, Egyptian and Israelite priests. Some physicists refer to it as "exotic matter"; monatomic gold has both superconductive and anti-gravitational properties.
i.e. they do bugger all. We'll make all the claims in the world on our product and it doesn't do anything. But we'll charge you $99.95 for it.*These statements have not been evaluated by the

I tend to just try to maintain a stable and balanced diet, however.
Definitely. The last time I took a vitamin (more specifically, AirBorne) was a few years ago when I started getting a cold. Took the stuff religiously as per the instructions; within a few days I was bedridden with the flu. I've never felt sicker in my life. ...Haven't touched a vitamin since.Do any of you find they actually have any effect?
Oh come now, you make this too easy sometimes.![]()
You know the saying, "if you cure it, it lasts 7 days; if you don't cure it, it lasts a week."
Took your bloody time about it.
Pick up the slack, people!
(Even though your quote is about vitamins, and not herbal supplements, I never miss an opportunity to preach...)Vitamins aren't what I would call random crap.Over-the-counter and certain (not all) prescription drugs are random crap.
