he seems to be like those rich people that don't show their wealth. i mean, he always wears the same clothes at those key notes. and the guy never shaves-it seems he likes the dirty beard look. so, as far as the iphone goes, he probably has both, black and white, and ones for work, the other for personal, with no cases. i had a similar "boss" that was a billionaire, but dresses like a bum. he always wore this ugly green coat with a big rip in the back, with these ugly grey slacks, and his brown loafers had holes in them, exposing his toes. At the company cafeteria, which is a big buffet, whatever he took, he would eat everything, not leaving a crumb.

There are pictures of him outside of Apple events, such as his daughter's sports, where he's in jeans and a black shirt with his iPhone in his pocket and earbuds in.

I'm confident he doesn't use a case at all. Considering that he has denied people who wanted their computers signed by him because he thinks it destroys the art that is the machine and - if pushed - will only sign inside of the battery bay on a notebook, he most likely thinks most, if not all, cases ruin the true aesthetic of the device.

But, of course, he's more than able to get it replaced if it gets damaged or stops working, both in terms of wealth and being able to just swap it out at work one day for nothing.

if steve used a case, it would show people that the iphone isn't strong enough to hold up without a case. So i think its a definite NO that he doesn't case his iphone. That being said, he probably uses the newest prototype of the next iPhone every 2 weeks :D
:apple::apple::apple:

When i think about it again..

I thing he uses a blackberry!! With a perfect 3G reception!! And without bugs!!!

Actually Steve probably does use a case on his iPhone.
I mean to hide it...

It is very likely that Jobs is using an unreleased version of an iPhone that he wont want people to see (on a day to day basis). When he attends public events he probably goes back to the 3G, but when he isnt out in public or whatever im sure he is using uber top secret apple stuff! :)

Might not be possible if it hasn't passed FCC approval.

I am sure he thinks the funny is perfect as it is and doesn't case it. As others pointed out if it got scratched he would just open another it isn't like he has to sign up on a two year contract to get one.

sure it would, he carried around the original iPhone long before the FCC approved it.

I believe it only needs to approved by the FCC if you are selling it...

I'm pretty sure he is above using cases.
He probably has an iPhone made out of titanium steel all around, except for the screen.
And I bet he has a 64GB version his screen is HD.

Lol, I wonder what kind of a plan he has.
Wouldn't be surprised if he has the most expensive plan ever.
It would also be hilarious if he uses jail broke it.

No way does Steve use a case.

He lived in California during the 70's.....just like his hot tubbin' days....Steve is rocking his iPhone nekkid.

He probably doesn't need a case because he probably doesn't use his iphone(s) regularly.

Like every other important businessman who relies on email and reliable phone service, he probably primarily uses a blackberry (or other reliable smartphone, hell, he probably uses a prototype from apple or some other company). Or at least some custom firmware or something for the iphone. I couldn't possibly imagine a business user that relies on their phone using an iphone at this stage in the firmware. It's not efficient or reliable in any way shape or form.

+1

exactly. he and every other executive there are using Blackberries. their business DEPENDS on reliablity in reaching each other. the BB delievers this, not the iphone.

I'd argue he's probably too busy and inaccesible to even have a phone of his own. He's probably got a battalion of secretaries and assistants who do all of that for him.
