Merge them so they will become a unified 5.0" instead and abandon the other 2 sizes. I know, I know, you will ask, "but what happens to the people who enjoy 4.7" and 5.5" iPhones?" Well, to them, I say Apple should just go and look at them and say "BWAHAHAH TOO BAD 4 U!"...and dat's it...so they're FORCED to abandon their 4.7" and 5.5" screen size preferences and have no choice but to buy the new "default" 5.0-inches.

What do u think? should Apple merge the 4.7" and 5.5" to make 1 iPhone 7 (and all future iPhones) at 5.0" inch?

This would help the people who feel bad about buying a 4.7" iPhone because they feel they're restricting themselves of "more" and the feeling of "maximum upgrade" or "highest end quality"...but then feel bad about buying the 5.5" because it looks ugly like a tablet and now alot less like a beautiful iPhone.

Getting rid of the 5.5" alone is not enough because the 4.7" still feels "gimped" like it feels like "it could have been even bigger"...but not 5.5" tablet big plz no...just need to stay beautiful iPhone size but at maximum upgrade...so 5.0" is good...I think IDK...

    Thx 4 ur thoughts.

People who feel bad about their free choice can't be helped. Apple has three phone sizes now, which pretty much covers everybody.

IMO Apple should remove the iPhone SE 4.0 Inch and replace that with the 5.0 inches so it'll be 4.7", 5.0", 5.5" instead of 4.0", 4.7", 5.5"...or maybe Apple can just add in an extra size and have it be 4.0", 4.7", 5.0", and 5.5"...and have 4 instead of three.

U know what? I can argue that people who want too many choices are the ones who can't be helped...or maybe people who want the wrong choices are the ones who can't be helped. Apple should just make 1 phone at 5.0 inches, this will maximize their profits from not having to make 4 or 3 different types and incurring a cost there of having to reorganize their factories or whatever.

4.0" and 4.7" and 5.5" are all wrong choices. Well..maybe it'll go down to a knife fight between the 4.7" and the 5.0" actually...IDK how satisfied or how good a 5.0" iPhone will make me feel unless I hold 1 in my hand before I decide. Maybe 5.0" will still end up feeling ugly like a tablet like the 5.5"...maybe then 4.7" is the only right choice. Ahhh whatever...

...Wow I want 2 see it, 2 iPhones holding knife and fighting each other...wow...what a sight...

    Respect differences.
Apple has bigger issues than dimensions.

Choice is always good. I think there should be 2 size options. Maybe even three.

But I do think there should be a 5.0 size. 4.7 is still slightly small and 5.5 is too big for a lot of people. 5.0 is the sweet spot.

4.7 inch is too small. I think they should replace it with an 8.0 inch phone.

I'm sorry, but your logic has no merit. There's no reason for Apple to do this. To reduce choice and thereby compromise both products?

Also, the only two choices in your poll are "Yes, Apple should," or "I'll change to Android"? Really?

If by merge you mean come up with a smaller 4.7, I agree.

So basically the choice you want should be the only option there is. I'm not sure if anyone has told you this, but the world doesn't revolve around you.

5" is too small for the plus users, and probably too big for most 4.7 users. Also what about the people who want smaller screens like the ones SE was made for?

The current offerings are great and there is no need to change them.

I actually feel that 5" would be the ideal size, especially if they could shrink the bezel a bit to make the overall size the same or only slightly larger than the current 4.7" model.

But offering 4", 4.7", and 5.5" options is probably best for the widest range of people.

    I think 4.7 is ideal.

I have a feeling Apple is going to offer 3 different sizes this year for some reason.

    iPhone 7 SE @ 4"
    iPhone 7 @ 4.7"
    iPhone 7 Pro @ 5.5"

If they could shrink the bezels down on the phones or put a bigger display inside the same size casing, that would be perfect.

I just cannot see a new 4" phone coming in Sept, only 6 months after the original SE release.

Can i get a normal no?
Size is a variable just like colour or capacity, its not an end of the world thing either way.

I like the 4.7, i don't see a reason why offering the 5.5 is a bad (or good) thing. life's about choices.

I have a really novel idea. How about we leave well enough alone and let peeps decide for themselves what they want to spend their money on.

Fair enough. It may be next year. I think Apple was just testing the waters with the SE.

Why is there no "this would be a bad idea, but I still wouldn't switch to Android" option in the poll?

Anyway, I think there should be 4 iPhone sizes:

    4", 4.5", 5", and 5.5"

    Nobody can complain then.

I don't know that I would abandon the platform if they did this, but I don't see the point. Reduce bezel size and you'll be heading in the right direction. There are phones barely physically bigger than the 6s with a screen size as big as the 6s plus. That's the direction I'd see them go.
