I sure hope so. After months of use, I still don't like the look of iOS 7. For some reason the overall responsiveness and animations seemed a lot faster in iOS 5 & 6. I would love all the features of iOS 8 just with a iOS 6 look. Does anyone think Apple will have themes? Perhaps have a classic theme? That would be awesome.

Nope its 100% not going to look like iOS 6. It will never look like that again no matter what. But I love the look of iOS 7:D

Apple may refine some of the icons or work with the color palettes a little bit but its no way in Hell going to look like iOS 6 ever again. That's like asking Microsoft to make Windows 9 look like Windows 3.1

The real question is: do you guys think Mac OS 10.10 will restore the System 9 look? :p

Why would it? It really wouldn't make much sense.

Now, will it perhaps tweak/improve the look of iOS 7, and maybe even change some things here and there, that's more likely.

Well then, I guess any iPhone 4S/5 or iPad 3/4 running iOS 6 will just have its value increased over time. Many people prefer the iOS 6 look. iOS 7 isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread.

When the iphone 6 comes out this year with its 4.8" screen and iOS 8 the loyalty towards iOS 6 will go out the window and be just a fading memory.

Why would someone want an old phone which is going to have less and less developer support?

I wish people who wanted android would just buy an android.

How does this make any kind of sense in this thread? What does iOS 6 and Android have in common as it pertains to this thread

You clearly didn't think it through before clicking "Submit reply" :D

Easy, they both are ugly. old, and out of style. Any other questions?

The hardware will go back to iPhone 2 and the OS will look like Windows CE.

I agree, some people just can't deal with change.

How so? There will come a time when most of the apps on the app store will require iOS 7, and not too many people will be clamoring for those devices anymore.

iOS 1-6 was Forstall's vision, iOS7 and beyond is Ive's. Time to move on, either with iOS as it is or not.

I don't see that happening since as far functionality there really isn't that much difference between the two iOS versions.
