Do you think iOS 8 will restore iOS 6 look?

Why? They have done it every year like that (announce in June and release a bit later in the year). And of course they have a whole team working on iOS 8 already for some time, it takes a while to get a new version ready, they pretty much get going on after shipping the previous version out.

There have even been iOS x.3 versions, like 4.3 (and that didn't stop a whole new version from coming out later in the year).
Apart from stability and speed there are two things I really hate about iOS7:
1) hideous dock
2) it looks much better if your iPhone is white.
Apple seem to have forgotten that there is more than one color variation of THEIR flagship product.
Will there be a comeback to sort of iOS6 look ? No way.

For those who think iOS 7 was designed for devices with white glass, why was black chosen for iPhone 5C?
Enough that it was visually different while staying similar in form and general overall design.I was going to say XP but windows 7 didn't look too much different from XP
iOS 7 is an over-correction. It lacks the playfulness, whimsy, and charm that has been a component of the Mac OS since 1984. iOS 6 took playfulness too far and became cloying and juvenile. iOS 7 is sterile and soulless. Fortunately, high-profile Apple bloggers and journalists are mentioning this, too. With luck, Apple will hopefully listen to these complaints and issue a course correction to bring back some of the fun that made people fall in love with the Mac OS and with iOS in the first place.
I would have to say hell no to default iOS 8 looking like anything but iOS 7 or very similar.
I say default because iOS 8 might embrace the notion of allowing folks to theme their phones a la the jailbreak themes. So folks that have that bug up their butts can get back their iOS 6 icons

The dock in iOS 7 looks around 1 trillion times better than the shiny garbage reflective dock in iOS 6.
No way in hell Apple will ever allow anyone to 'theme' their iOS device, and with GREAT reason. I'm not sure if anyone has seen any of the jail break themes people have, but trust me when I say don't have any sharp objects around you, lest your eyes be gouged out by yourself. I've never seen a worse slaughtering of the beautiful iOS that comes on the beautiful iOS devices, it's a complete disgrace. It's absolutely no wonder to me why some people don't like how iOS 7 looks, and that of course is because their taste is among the worst of humankind. Go to the iOS 7 screenshots thread at the last few pages (since jail breaking has been available), and you'll see what I mean. It's actually impossible to describe how bad people's taste is. Every time I see someone say they hate iOS 7's look now, I just remember those themes and laugh.
It's no wonder they try to fix jailbreaks...if anyone saw those themes on an Apple device they would absolutely rather die than purchase one. I just wish I could send one of them to Apple executives and in particular Ive; they would probably laugh historically straight into crying their eyes out with the fact that someone had such a horrifyingly awful theme on their devices.
It's only your opinion. For many other people - the new one is hideous.
I have jailbroken my iP 5S only to get rid of that piece of s...t. I'm happy I no longer have to look at it.
Yeah I've seen what people do with their jail broken devices and themes hahah. Let's just leave it at, no taste.
No offense, but that is one of the most rediculous thig I have ever heard.
Just because you don't like iOS 7 and like iOS 6, devices running the later will have the value increased over time, you know....just like any PC running windos 95 now have high sky value
Just because you think iOS 7 is the most beautiful thing in the earth and iOS is the the most beautiful device in the earth does not mean other people agree with it. People like to personalize their phone. Ultimately people carrying their phone all the time with them and people want their phone fit their taste.
I feel iOS is the most boring OS in terms of how it looks and iOS 7 loos absolutely awful on iPad 2, iPad 3, iPhone 4. I jailbroken my iPad 3 in day 1 and changed the theme immediately
Well said especially from a company who embraces and encourages individuality. If someone doesn't like stock iOS and wants to JB their devices, more power to them.
I think you need to define "many". I'd say "many" could care less. They get the update, and move on. There are a "few" that just can't let go.
iOS 8 will look nothing like iOS 6. Critics and media have stated that iOS 8 will be an enhanced version of 7; some minor tweaks/additions to the UI, and overall improvements to entire OS to take advantage of newer hardware, and hopefully a bit larger screen.
Oh I think they might. But only with themes they vet. So it wouldn't be anything in the world.
Any themes, plug ins etc would still have to go through them and the store.
