Where's your evidence that Apple is resistant to making changes like that?
He doesn't know. He's guessing. You should know this!

Actually it doesn't make sense, for Apple. Why get rid of 16GB when its the capacity they sell the most?
It sells the most because it's the cheapest?
If Apple brought out an 8GB iPhone 6 for $100 that would sell the most.
I think the fact the 8 GB 5c came out last month shows Apple aren't keen to up the storage. At best I could see a 16 / 64 / 128 lineup (eliminating the 32 option) but that probably won't happen.
Why eliminate t he 32GB when it's more popular than the 64gb?
I think he's saying making 64GB the same price as the current 32GB. I would be a lot more OK paying $100 and going to 64GB than the way it is now. I just feel like I'm getting fleeced with the current upgrade prices.
I'm sure we all would. But Apple is not dropping the price on the iPhone, especially with the increase in screen size. There is absolutely no reason not to sell the 16GB version and maintain the current price points on all models.
Answer to OP: Not for one second, no. Apple rely on releasing such a pitiful base spec that most people are forced to buy an enhanced version for an outrageous price hike. Sure I like their stuff, or I wouldn't be on here. But that is their model.
Oh I completely agree. They are making huge margins and have the most popular phone on the market, their investors would have a fit if they essentially gave away profits. From a consumer standpoint it sucks.
