Most of the people I have met from that part of the world have a very different work ethic and unlike most Americans they appreciate work. Based on that I would guess they are very happy.

+1
Not just from that part of the world but from most of the world as well

I'm a lefty and proud of it. :)

I don't think foxconn is a sweatshop. If you think it's a sweatshop, it's because you don't know what an actual sweatshop is.

From what I understand, FoxConn is a very popular company to work for, because they pay well for easy work, and they allow their workers to work overtime if they desire, which gets even more pay. So no, nobody will be unhappy that the things they are working on are popular.

Yep

Cause i'd be like.. 600,000 orders? F*** you guys!

Yeah I read where they got paid $130 a month for working there!! But they were giving a raise ....can't remember how much of a raise it was but is wasn't very much!!!

In China they kill themselves while in the US they kill others:p Also, that 600K figure is only for the US:rolleyes: Imagine all the orders that they have to fill for all the other countries as well.

But they do employee about 500,000 people. It's not like it's one person building all of the iPhones.

the problems the employees there have are not from us but caused by the inequivalent social problems. People in the city like beijing or shanghai earn over $5 thousand a month (yeah, better than you guys) while these employees work their ass off for about $200 a month.

Not from the figures I've seen or heard. Perhaps you meant in Chinese RMB?

The average salary in Beijing is more like US$7,000 a YEAR.

A senior professional makes about US$20,000-30,000 a year.
