Since some of the MBP prediction thread's seem to be 'deteriorating' into arguments.

How about a simple Yes or No Poll. And for this thread hopefully we'll just leave it at that until WWDC :)

If you mean a sneak preview like they did with the Mac Pro: meh. As for a totally new system ready to launch from WWDC: absolutely not. Not a chance in hell.

I don't expect Apple to announce the Broadwell 15" MBP until after the back-to-school shopping has been largely completed. I expect an announcement in September or October.

Absolutely not, as others stated. Apple isn't going to update the MBP line and then a few weeks later roll out a brand new version. That's just asinine and will only anger its customers. How would you feel if you spent 2,000 bucks on a newly updated computer only to see apple release another update a few weeks later.

Apple knew of Intel's timing with Broadwell, and yet they chose to not to wait, so that means we'll probably see a substantial update with Skylake.

There is more chance that Steve Jobs faked his own death in order to surprise us as the "one more thing" at the end of this year's WWDC keynote than new MBPs being announced.

They can announce a new MBP with new design and Skylake at WWDC to be released at the beginning of next year lol

I'm thinking the same. Broadwell late 2015 for the 15" and processor bump for 13". Mid 2016 skylake.

I don't think so.

Broadwell chips for the MacBook Pro are finally available, but I think Apple has passed over them.

My bet would be a Skylake-based MacBook Pro with USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 in late 2015 or early 2016.

There won't be. Just doesn't fit Apples scheduled release cadence. Expect an update in October at the earliest.

Last full day to cast your vote.

More news of Skylake popping up everyday now. It doesn't mean a Skylake 'announcement' will for sure be made at WWDC but it does raise even further the possibility of an Apple laptop powered by Skylake coming before the end of the year :)

I have a better chance of getting a date with Kate Upton or Scarlett Johansson than Apple announcing new MBP's at the keynote.

Well, If they announce something I will return by 15 MBP. I'm suppose to get it Wednesday via FedEx. But, if it has the MB's keyboard I don't want it lol. I really doubt they will. I think its going to be some kind of iPad announcement, State of Apple Watch, Mac OS 10.11 and maybe something else.
