Why would anyone think there would be an updated MBP announced at WWDC when both models were literally just updated?

Can this thread get wastelanded already?

The return of the 17-inch MacBook Pro will be tomorrow's new hardware announcement.

Ahhhh who am I kidding. There's a greater chance of the earth being wiped out by an asteroid than the return of the 17-inch MacBook Pro.

Well, todays the day.

An obvious landslide vote for 'no announcement at all' concerning the MBP.

Interesting to see that the votes 'for' an announcement happening lean toward the sentiment that Broadwell will be skipped over in favor of Skylake. I'm hoping that's the case.

I voted yes, simply because I actually want to watch this happen. Please post video when completely eaten (don't want to see the proof it was digested though).
Well phew!
Dodged a bullet today.

I'd have to get a webcam and stuff and those things are expensive!

Lol. Dangit! That would've made a great video.

Bummed, if my 2008 MBP quits today I'm stuck with getting a 4th gen laptop.

WWDC is a developers conference. It's all about the software. Hardware hasn't been announced at WWDC since I've been using Apple products.
