No, I don't need an app to not text and drive. I have self control.

And to the other people that don't feel "comfortable" driving and talking on bluetooth, how do you do when passengers are in your car? Do you stay silent because you are afraid to talk and drive??? Doesn't make much sense to me...

In my own personal experience i think even talking on the phone with bluetooth hands-free set is still distracting while behind the wheel of a car.

I usually either pull over to talk or wait until I reach my final destination to respond.

And what about talking to a passenger?

And what about talking to a passenger?

I feel that it is similar in distraction. When driver drives his/her car they should focus strictly on driving. In my personal experience and I've seen reports of many people forgetting to take the intended exit because they were "distracted" by having a conversation with their passenger.

It's not that hard to keep the car going in a straight line while distracted by a conversation with a passenger or on the phone.. the problem is when there is a sudden emergency where traffic ahead of you has stopped... or a driver does not see the traffic light turning red or running a stop light... etc etc.

I'm just gonna say it...

Get off the road.

Use Do Not Disturb with only the most critical contacts in your favorites list. Use this in conjunction with a Bluetooth speaker system or headset. Nice and simple
