Those of you who do all the time - do you use maps - I find I really can't read/use maps when my phone is in dark mode.

Right now mines set to transition but was thinking about going dark all day

I use the automatic transition. It's set from 07:30 am - 06:30 pm to Light and between 06:30 pm - 07:30 am to Dark. It's a nice change and it does change automatically as expected without any issue. I also use the True Tone feature 24/7, also very nice. And between 08:30 pm - 06:30 am Night Shift is enabled, Do Not Disturb is enabled from 11 pm to 06:30 am. Works for me.

By then, it was nothing to me but blinding! -Bane

Unlike others, I have not adopted the dark. Light mode all the time.

Ahh the force is strong with this one. Search your feelings. Yes! I feel your hatred! Use your anger! Join us in the dark side and we will rule the battery saving life...by struggling to see in the sunlight!

Dark all the time. I find it easier on the eyes and think apps like messages and music look really slick in dark mode. The battery savings are a nice bonus. I added the toggle to the top level of control center so I can easily switch to light mode if I’m out in bright sun and having a hard time seeing the screen.

Come to the dark side. We have cookies.

24/7 for me.

Couldn’t resist

i use dark mode all the time
while in dark mode wish they kept the text a lite color against the black screen. Colors like dark green, red, blue are difficult.

cant have eerything
go figure worked well in the lab

If you’re using Dark Mode under high ambient lighting the difference can be astronomical. Check this out from DisplayMate’s testing. “An additional bonus is that switching to a Black Background will in most cases significantly reduce the battery power used by the OLED display. For example, for the Calendar application, at the Maximum Brightness setting, switching to the Dark Mode from the Light Mode reduces the Display Power from 4.2 watts down to 0.2 watts, which will significantly increase the Running Time on Battery.”

I have it on all the time. Find it easier on my eyes. They are sensitive to light, I even run my screen brightness at ~33%.

No, I use dark more all day, everyday. Aside from reducing eye strain and looking sleek, dark mode on OLED displays help with battery, so it's a must for me to keep it on.

I have it set for sunset to sunrise. But I also override it, depending on the weather. Today for instance...it's cloudy and dark. So I switched to dark mode. If it was bright and sunny, I'd leave it to go automatically.

At first, while beta testing iOS13, I had it set to transition to dark mode at 8:00 PM and revert to day mode at 7:00 AM. Now, I’ve fully turned to the Dark Side, 24/7. I love it!
