😀 haha, next time ill be shure to add at leat 10000 poll options just for you (one for every adjective I can find) and allow multiple choice so you'll be able to put "Sometimes" and "Except sundays"

The old standard for multiple choice might have sufficed though:
- All the time
- Often
- Sometimes
- Rarely
- Never

Who uses it with their Buddy List? Who would like to see another coloured band added? And what for?

I don't use the Buddy List but I think it might be useful to see when the thread starter posts a reply, especially with problem-threads.
The posts from forum members who are in your buddy list show up highlighted in a light yellow. It makes it easier to spot posts from people whose posts you like reading or just want to be reminded of.
The buddy list is also useful in another way. You can set your preferences to only receive PMs from your buddies, which can be helpful at times.

Sure do. That was the reason I started using a buddy list, so that people who usually have posts I enjoy will have their posts highlighted for me in the spy.
I imagine it would be useful for moderators to have a colour band added for their viewing for problematic threads or members.
edit: ooops, I'm slow, this has already been suggested.
edit 2: It would be cool if there were a colour band added that could be user selected based on forum. Like all the private forum threads/posts come up in a slightly different shade.

I'm not sure it could be selectively modified on a group basis like that, although that's a Knox question. 🙂
I can think of all sorts of categories that would be extremely useful. 😉
I'd like a different coloured band for "people whose posts I'm interested in". People I genuinely like or respect are on my Buddy List, but there are plenty of people who I read their posts with interest, some of whom I think are interesting and some of whom are so entirely mad or dreadful that I can't help but be interested in. 😀 Having them highlighted in a more subtle colour would be helpful for me without having to have them cluttering up my Buddy List (as I'm not actually interested as to whether they're online or not). I suppose it would be more of a watch list, than a buddy list.

I've never really used Forum Spy much, so I started using it today. I really like it now. I've still found myself manually searching threads, but this is really nice.
