160GB Intel G2 in 09 Mac Pro
120GB OCZ Vertex in 09 MBP
40GB Intel G2 in 09 Mac Mini

Very satisfied with the 160GB in the Pro till now. Runs about a year now without any problems and is still as fast as on the first day.

Although only 50% filled I consider upgrading to the 300GB G3 if the speed bump is decent for random access.

Interesting results so far compared to a year ago...

This time last year, 62% were putting off the purchase of an SSD, compared with only 29% this year.

This year, 45% of voters have one or more SSD's compared to only 20% last year.

I have a crucial M225 128Gb in my whitebook (well this weekend), an Intel 80Gb G2 in my eeePC, and a WD Scorpio Blue 64Gb as my boot drive in my AMD quad HTPC rig in the living room along with 3Tb of movie storage drives...

I have a Crucial 128Gb M225 SSD that I boot from and launch apps from. I moved my user folder to a Regular 2TB hard drive.

Its really fast.

I have installed a OCZ Colossus LT II 128GB in my MacPro 2010 (6*3.33 Ghz) and very happy with it. In one year or so, I plan to buy a 1 TB SSD once the prices have significantly decreased.

look at my sig. will get a 300GB Intel G3 when they come out (if the price is right). would never go back to mechanical drives.

I just got my new Mac Pro yesterday and put an OCZ Vertex 2 120GB into it... I was blown away... I had previously been using 7200RPM HD's and boy does it make a difference... It took me under 14 seconds to boot up OS... I use the SSD for Boot/Scratch... PS CS5 Extended loads in like 2 seconds...

Once you go SSD, you can't go back... Truth.

Have several OWC's (60,120,240,240) but tried the OWC 40GB to see if I could go the Mac Performance Guide route and do a clean/hybrid Boot install. Well got OSX, all my apps etc on it except data and only used 27GB with 12+ available. And it flies too. After I did that got some more for offsite cloned boot drives.:D
