I routinely use an AT&T "Option GT MAX 3.6 Express" card--3G wireless connectivity (when you can get 3G) on AT&T or other GSM cellular networks (including in Europe). Works pretty seamlessly with 10.5.1

I have 3 cards that i use in my expresscard slot.

1) Multi-card reader (SD, MMC, XD, Smartmedia)
2) 4 Port USB Hub
3) Serial Port (yes that's right, i still require a serial port in this day and age!)

Thanks for the suggestions.

Based on the input, I was looking into using the expressport for memory cards but I have two follow up questions....

(1) does the express card sit flush with the macbook Pro?
(2) do they support compact flash and still sit flush with the macbook Pro?

Some of Sony's newest camcorders record to an SSD Expresscard, as opposed to HDD, DVD or DV. I think the only sizes available now are 8 and 16 gig.

Isn't Compact flash too big to fit in the express card slot? I think they make them, but they are partly external. My SD card reader sits flush until I put an SD card in. Then half the card sticks out. Too bad too, because it would be nice to leave in there without worrying about snapping it in half.
