Do you wake your iPhone with the sleep/wake or home button?

I don't think I have ever used the sleep button to do this. 100% of the time since day 1 with the original iphone and on my 3g, I have used the home button.

I just think the home button is more convenient to press when the area where you're about to swipe to unlock is just above it.

Now see I put my phone in my right pocket, and whenever I put it away I put it top down (home button up) so whenever I take it out I directly put my thumb on the home button, so it's the quickest way to turn it on.

I would have my phone in my right pocket, but thats where I keep my keys, It would just feel wrong to make the switch lol

Whatever is closest pretty much. If its in my pocket with lock button up ill use that, if the home button is up ill use that.

Well that just adds a whole new dimension to the topic, I always pocket my phone with the home button at the bottom, lol

Me too. Right front pocket, home button down, screen facing the leg. Always.


As for waking the phone, I'd guess about 75% home button, 25% sleep/wake.

Me to, screen always facing leg. But left pocket, right is always keys lol
