My Twelve South stand works great and has been reliable the last year and a half. It holds the mini as well so shouldn't be a problem with the 6 or 6 Plus.

Good point, I'd forgotten they were aimed at iPad Mini owners as well as iPhone 5 owners (facepalm).

The Plus will be great with the HiRise.

Why does iPad Mini compatibility guarantee iPhone 6 and 6 Plus compatibility with the HiRise? The new iPhones are thinner than the iPad Mini.

Can someone using the naked iPad Mini with this stand confirm that the rear support on the HiRise can be brought further forward to fully support the new iPhones?

The Twelve South website confirms it will work with both the 6 and 6 Plus.

I'm thinking about using a dremel to sand out either side of the 'trench' of one of my existing Apple iPhone 5s docks. Once complete the edges of the iPhone 6 might protrude a bit, but I think it would work. What do you guys think?

I prefer the simplicity and light weight of Apple's docks; they work really well for travel.

I'm going to leave some feedback on Apple's website and suggest you do the same.

It will not be pretty. That is a thin plastic cover.

Just picked up the TwelveSouth HiRise..a little worried by how much my 5S can wobble, but it looks great! (not as tall as I thought it might be)

Aaaah THANK U! i can't believe ppl actually buy that awful TwelveSouth dock.

It's amazing how all the docks out there don't work for travel except the Apple one...

I did this as well.. I love Apple's docks…

Classiest aluminum dock for the iphone 6 plus from www.thelightningdock.com Works great with my ipad air also. It has an adjustable back that you just turn to adjust to the thickness of your device.

I agree that this is one classy, sophisticated, beautiful dock. I would like to order one to see what I think of it on my desk, but I'm a little worried by the lack of customer support information on their website. I might be flat-out missing it, but I don't see any information related to a customer support phone number or address, or their return policy. That makes me nervous, should I want to return it or have a problem with it.

Does anyone have this info?

I just looked for contact info, nothing besides a sales@thelightningdock.com. It floors me when companies do this.

Not really sure what the obsession over the 12South HiRise is; it raises it up too high in the air for my liking.

As an FYI for anyone who might be interested in The Lightning Dock but has refrained due to a lack of customer support info, I just used the sales@thelightningdock.com email to send the company this message:

Dear Ma’am or Sir,

I am potentially interested in The Lightning Dock. However, I would like to better understand your customer support policies, should I desire to return it or have a problem with it.

I’ve searched through the website, yet I can find no information whatsoever relating to how to go about requesting customer service or how to initiate a return.

Would you please send me your customer service phone number and address, as well as your return and customer satisfaction policy?

If you don’t mind a friendly suggestion, may I recommend you put this information on your website? The Lightning Dock is beautiful, yet I have to wonder how many potential customers are refraining from purchase because of a lack of this kind of information. Speaking for myself, it makes me uneasy that it’s not posted.

Thank you for your assistance.

Regards,

Scott

Worked. Seems just as stable.

Definitely more functional than when I made my first iPhone 5 dock out of an old DV tape case. :D

My guess is Apple will release an iPhone 6 & 6 Plus dock in the next few months. In the interim this seems like it'll work just fine.

Can anyone with a Twelvesouth HiRise stand and an iPhone 6 Plus confirm that the phone fits on the dock? Although their website says the stand supports 6/6+ I'm concerned there may be a gap at the back since both new iPhones are thinner. Thanks in advance.

Assuming no one does it in the meantime, I'll check when I'm back of holiday on Tuesday.

Having said that, the 'gap' is adjustable (it has to be, to cater for different cases for both iPhone and iPad), so that's why I'm sure it won't be an issue.
