Does a1398 2014 15inch support 8tb m.2 ssd?
I am currently 4tb

Installed ventura via olpc

It probably will as long as the drive fits size wise in the same slot. I don't see why the capacity would be any restriction with macOS.
 
According to this thread, SSDs up to 4 TB work. I don't know whether that means 8 TB won't, or just whether nobody's tested one that large.
