3rd

Hand doesn't wrap around properly to do first and I'm not even going to try the second lol

I prefer to hold mine like this

I hold it like the third about 90% of the time. I type one-handed mostly, with my pinky under the iPhone for support. I've held it this way since 2008, and most other ways feel unnatural.

Also, typing two-handed is slower for me.

I think most who have had iPhones in the past got use to the third. I know the 3G S was perfect for 3rd. I use the third a lot.

I mostly use the 3rd on all of my iPhones. Sometimes hold it with both hands if I have more to type, but then again, I might as well switch to landscape.

1st - sometimes if I'm scrolling from page to page or in an app but not typing.

2nd - if I'm holding the phone, but not using it. :p

3rd - most of the time, especially if I'm texting.

No I find them all uncomfortable. My pinky rests under the phone in most every position.

When I need to type, I tend to hold in both hands and use both thumbs.

90% of the time it's #3 for me.

Vast majority of my usage is walking to and from meetings and only have one hand free to hold the phone as the other is holding files or a briefcase. I find myself often walking on the edge of grass parallel to the sidewalk in case I should drop it.

Siri is a big help but I only use it when I'm not in a crowd. Siri in the car is a god send. At home I switch over to the iPad but still one handed because my other hand is holding my bourbon.

Might be easier to compare if they were all in the right or left hand.

Actually all 3 ways indicate using the right hand for input. I think the hold in the 2nd pic is for using the right index finger while holding with your left hand like in the photo (I've seen people use it like that)
