The fact that you have to go through all that jusy to put the newstand app in a folder is laughable. ..so much for intuitive....

I agree. Wholeheartedly. The problem is that newstand is treated like a folder. And iOS doesn't like folders in folders. Try and load newstand straight out of a folder (once you get it in there with the above trick). It will crash. Same goes for any other folder. You can use the same method to get a folder within a folder, however when trying to open a folder within a folder it will also crash. To me it makes zero sense and it is a silly restriction, but it is what it is (I find myself saying that a lot with Apple :()

I use youtube a lot but it is not really great. It doesn't allow me to share a video to facebook, when i am switching to portrait mode it will rotate the screen but look hideous. The video is centered in the middle with black bars on top and bottom. If you have used youtube on android you are familiar with the portrait mode having the video on top half and the bottom half of screen has discription, comments, share functions etc (can be swiped as tabs) and you can even comment while viewing which is great!

Oh and i hate how the video starts in the default landscape mode especially if i am using the phone in the opposite (upside down) setting because of the annoying headset wire which i want to my right. It should start in portrait mode if we were browsing on portrait mode and allow us to switch then to whichever orientation we choose.

Also related to that is the inability to browse videos in landscape mode as well....

However, I LOVE the history option. Makes going back to videos i watched so easy than having to search again.

I like having all the standard Apple apps on my home screen, but am surprised there's no option to disable/hide certain ones.

I want to be able to delete stock apps. Because a few of the stock apps I've replaced with better, 3rd party ones. For example, I've got Camera+, so whats the point in keeping the stock camera app? I've also got a special weather app that is specific to my country, thus is much better and more accurate, so whats the point in keeping the stock weather app? Plus I may as well delete the stocks app and newsstand app, because I'll never use those.

Its annoying that I'm never ever going to use them, but they stay on my phone and use up limited space...

I don't see why apple can't just put all non-essential apps on the app store and allow us the choice to delete them. When you don't have the option of expandable storage every byte can count, so I don't want my device half filled with crap like stocks which I don't use.
