Does anyone else hate the new FrontRow?

Yup, it works like this:

I got a Mira Infra-red receiver (from TwistedMelon).
I bought an Apple remote from the Apple Store…

It works.

You can also use the remote in EyeTV etc…

Maybe i dont understand or neither do you....

what i need to do is have frontrow 2 on an external monitor, at the moment i have my macbook monitor and a LCD TV connected to the right of my macbook, my mouse point can travel accross the macbook monitor to the LCD TV monitor, but when i use front row it appears only on my macbook monitor. i can use the leopard display settings to mirror the displays so i can the same picture on both monitors but that is no good, i want front row on the external monitor only! can i do this?

Im sorry if i deeply upset you, but your being smug and not helpfull all.
you said is that you managed to get a remote to work on your mac pro which didnt have one originally, how is that answering what i asked?

you havent got it to work on an external monitor have you?

Also I have mannors but no time for timewasters.......

Yes I hate it to death!

What I miss the most is the beginning 4 sections look (Movies, Music, DVD, Photos)
And the small font size
And maybe the worst...movies won't "continue play from last time" anymore on avi movies (apparently it will work if you have the movies in iTunes)

I deleted it upon installing leopard, without trying it. I don't like the idea to make a computer like a tv.
