Although it took a good two weeks (from the date I originally emailed them to the date I received my replacements) SGP did honor their warranty and sent me TWO packs of replacements (four back protectors in all). The replacements work perfectly.

The screen has got to be CLEAN, and not just from lint and dust but from surface oils. I wipe mine with an alcohol swab before applying and no problems with any openings. Have done mine and 2 friends this way with crystal films.

I discovered if you have a decent install and there's one or two issues, leave it alone. Trying to improve the SGP clear leaves you with more problems than you were trying to fix. Mine had a dust spot and now the whole screen looks like is has the mumps after working it over. You practically have to do it in a clean room environment and be real fast and antiseptic in getting it attached. Once you get finger oil or dust, you are hosed.
