Even tho I am having this problem I am not getting mine exchanged and I advise all of you with ONLY this problem not to because it sounds like this is one of he least annoying problems. I didn't even notice this prob till i read a thread bout it. I am happy if this is he worst of my probe cuz there r worse probe out there and I tend to turn off my wifi unless I need it. I also don't wanna return it cuz this is my first iPod touch and I am quite pleased wit this being my only prob other than the occasional overheat

i am using 802.11n 2.4Ghz and have the clicking problem aswell, using WPA2-PSK security :(

OMG! I just got this ipod touch 4 gen 10 mins ago and testing out the video as you guys have mentioned. The click sound in the video is like firing a machine gun! I'm not even logged on to any networks and i didn't even register it yet on iTunes.

don't have it (on wifi -n and WPA2-PSK key) .... however, got some nice light leaks on the sides of the glass

Has anyone tried changing their wifi channel (assuming you're on something you have admin access to) to see if the problem goes away for you?

I tried changing to several different channels and it did not make a difference. Also enabled & disabled the security settings and did not find that to make a difference either. For me, the only thing that stopped the clicking was turning off the wifi.

Oh well, at least this seems to be the least annoying of all the problems reported... I'll be keeping my iPt4.

I just checked and my 32gb has the clicking problem. I'm connected to a secured wireless connection at home. Is this worth bringing in for a replacement, or does it seem like any new touch does this when connected to a secured wifi network?
