No regrets at all it's the best value you can get for this type of package - slim design, powerful processed and graphics, and amazing screen

Not a second. I love the display, the sophisticated os, the speed and the design (os and hardware). It's fully worth the money considering the materials used and the work apple invested.

No regrets at all

At first I thought it would be too big, as I prefer 13", but after a little use, I found that it's perfect for me

I was going back and forth trying to decide whether to buy a rmbp or iMac .. Ended up getting the iMac but still want a rmbp even though it prolly makes more sense to get a MBA

Makes more sense to get an iPad if you already have an iMac. That's what I'll be doing. I'm waiting to buy my 27" :)

Just noticed you already have an iPad. Now it makes no sense to get anything else

It's an amazing laptop. While I'm a bigger fan of 13" laptops in general, I find the 13" rMBP to be a terrible value because it doesn't have discrete graphics. I only game casually, but with the 15", you at least have the option since it has discrete graphics. Besides, at retina resolutions, you're going to want a GPU with a little horsepower if necessary.

the only regret was buying a base model from the get go! i returned it Friday and received my 2.6/16/256 in the post today! i am LOVING the new machine. (I loved the last one but was going through the RAM pretty quick) originally sold my 27" maxed out iMac to purchase the 15" rMBP...i did have a lot of regret with the sale but i am hooked on this rMBP!!!

No regrets at all. Even with the problem I had with the first one it didn't bug me. My 15" rMBP is perfect in all respects. Not only is the screen beautiful but it's so FAST, especially in Photoshop. It's also really light, it's impossibly light for such a large form factor. It's smooth too, the keyboard is really smooth and feels really nice.
